The so-called “MVP” group of companies—dubbed after the initials of its public face and chief executive Manuel V. Pangilinan—has emerged as one of the biggest conglomerates in the country today, its newest and the most aggressive.

Yet the real ownership of this vast conglomerate has been kept hidden from the public eye.

Until now.

it was interesting... until the last part when he admitted it was part of his upcoming book and the part where he mentioned the MILF was planning to have central mindanao become a malaysian state. that latter part is just absurd, or did he forget that the moros launched an attempt to take sabah away from Malaysia (ok maybe that was the MNLF but as most people in mindanao will tell you, the acronym doesn't matter, isa lang yan sila lahat, paiba iba lang ng pangalan as they see fit)

its well known that the so called MVP group is not just Pangilinan, its also well known that his partners are not Filipinos. what is not well known, or should I say not really proven, is the ownership percentages he claims

dont forget the writer used to be press secretary of former President Arroyo, so this might just be a political ploy

I would have to agree with Seigneur Bodieph. I tend to take what Rigoberto Tiglao says with more than just a grain of salt.

the blindness and slavery of the filipino people. your own "people" are doing it. the govt needs reforms. we stay out of the indonesia-malaysia mess(they will only launch jihad). we protect our own open and equal govt no religion,no corruption, pure societal management(politics)-first get the corrupt cancer out of the govt and the greedy elites. they are the cancers of this country. the 90% will stay poor.
