US shut down Megaupload

Hindi pa nga batas ang SOPA tumitira na ngayon ang US, Ano na kaya mangyayari pag nasa batas na ang SOPA?

Tapos na mga streaming/torrent/P2P... samakalawa rapidshare na naman.  :'(


WASHINGTON  - Megaupload.com, one of the world's largest file-sharing sites, has been shut down and seven people charged with copyright infringement and other crimes, US authorities announced Thursday.
 
The founder of the Hong Kong-based Megaupload was among four people arrested in connection with what the Justice Department and FBI described as "among the largest criminal copyright cases ever brought by the United States."
 
In a statement, the Justice Department and FBI said the seven were "responsible for massive worldwide online piracy of numerous types of copyrighted works, through Megaupload.com and other related sites."

Actually guys naipasa na ang SOPA and PIPA Bill Act kahapon lang in effect sa US started na siya kahapon pa. At ayun na nga, may example na silang ginawa sa Megaupload  :(

Apart from the cost you stated may mga companies ginagamit as transient backup yung Megaupload.  :(

Nagmamadali toloy akong nag dl ng X-Art 1080p files...  :o

Kakaupgrade ko lng ng linya ko sa internet last monday... akala ko happy days na magdl ng mga 1080ps...


 :o baka next week wala na tayong madl.

parang umatras ang internet sa bill na yan... imagine dati puro chat at research lang main uses ng internet... mukhang di magkakalayong ganun na nga magiging epekto...dahil sa bill na yan parang pinagbawal na rin nila ang entertainment sa internet

sa US pa lang naguumpisa ang dry run nila Starting at Washington D.C. Central at sa iba pang nasasakupan ng State, kaya wala pa tayong problem sa ngayon at pwede pang mag download ng mag download hanggang pwede pa... pero kapag nadamay na ang ibang bansa dito aba ibang usapan na ito... malamang magkakaroon ng Cyber Wars...

Ganyan lang talaga actions ng mga desperado. 2 years na ang megaupload pero bkit ngaun pa? Ang mga westerns kasi may belief na pag satisfy ka sa product eh bilhin mo. Tau mga easterns mas pabor tayo sa piracy, kitams nyo nlang ang nangyayare sa China.

I was just rattled while reading others comments/thoughts and reading some news info's about it.

Other info said by my Brother na nasa US na nagkaroon nga ng dry run about SOPA and PIPA etc...
parang experiment ba? naramdaman nila yung effect kung papaano mangyayari kung sakali naipasa na

It's not just about online piracy.

Our home definitely very vulnerable with this law.  All we can do now is pray na di ito maisabatas, ayoko ng bumalik na yung makikita mo sa computer ay parang na sa MSDOS prompt lng  laffman::
