this is one of the nicest articles ive read. naitago ko ito for 8 years. and now i think i have to share it to my spymates. maybe nabasa nyo na to dati, but oh well. here goes
Letting go...
It's over. You're gone.
Why do we have to part while the love is still there?
Why do we have to experience life's misery?
Why do I hav to shed tears when somebody bids goodbye?
Why do we have beginnings, only to meet end?
Why do we tend to fall for someone, only to lose and get hurt in the long run?
There are these questions left unanswered, words left unsaid, letters left unread, poems left undone, songs left unsung, love left unexpressed and promises left unfulfilled.
In life, one of the craziest things to do is to bid goodbye and let go. It is as hard as breaking your most precious jewelry because you'll never know when will you be able to pick up the pieces again if it is still worth it to put up together. More often than not, they who go feel not the pain of parting. It is they who stay behind that suffers, because they are left with memories of a love that was once meant to be.
Unfair as it may seem, but that's how love goes. Follow its twists and turns, ride with its tricky world, but journey with your destiny.
That's the scenario, the bitter sweet risk of falling in love.
After all nothing is steadfast, but change.
We might not notice that as time passes by,
end will eventually come without us knowing when or how or without us knowing why...
And little by little we forget; not because we want to, but we have to.
I dont have any idea if "Letting go" is worth calling an art...
But at any rate... it entails special skills glittered with a considerable space and time.
as we all know,
time heals all wounds, but it takes a little perseverance and acceptance.
Not all dreams come true. Not all wishes are forever granted. Not all stories end with
"...and they lived happily ever after."
Pain begets pain. Tears are drops of heaven; they are born to slide on your cheeks and die on your lips. It's the time when you realize that love didn't exist after all.
It's the time when you'll face one tomorrow, that all you felt within the shared love was only a deeper affection of friendship.
It's a new beginning. Sometimes we have to part because of circumstances beyond our control. We have to bear the consequences if it would mean happiness to others. We have to cry temporarily to let go of the heartaches that are kept deep inside. Every beginning has it's end like every dawn has it's dusk. It's something we cant control, something we have to live up.
It's over. You're gone. But life has to move on. Goodbye doesn't always mean forever.
There's still a remaining piece-FRIENDSHIP.
There will always be a place and time where-
questions will be answered, words will be spoken, letters will be interpreted, poems will be uttered, somgs will be sung in harmony, love will be expressed in solitude and promises be fulfilled.
