From the recently concluded FAS Mindanao Finals last September 26-27 the players all over Mindanao experienced the worst Airsoft Tournament conducted by FAS (filairsoft.com).

Many expected that the tournament will be of a different level, great gamesite and proper marshaling.
But it turned out to be the worst.

Little police/army presence resulted to almost a bloody exchange of REAL bullets between two teams when one player from the other team attacked the opposing player using a "REAL STEEL" sidearm which was caused by a commotion between both players.

A lot of players fainted because of the mission at hand which requires players to carry a 70kg bomb replica to accomplish the mission. This is negligence to the part of the organizers of the event.

There were a lot of complaints by other teams regarding the marshaling and the team standing results. Which some believed to be "doctored" by the organizers.

I did not expect that airsoft also has politics.

Sa tournament bro alam na lahat ng players na wala talagang aamin na HIT na sila.. Kumbaga lets face the reality gagawin ng bawat player na malusutan lang ang bawat uncalled HIT. Di na kasalanan ng players yan eh pinapaubaya na yan sa marshals. Ang nangyari lang eh may pinapaburan yung marshals at mismo yung FAS (siguro). Im not so sure pero yung pag sulpot ng isang team sa top 6 teams ng biglang bigla, dun na nagduda ang lahat. In fact sa awarding ceremony tinapon ng expecting team na manalo ang plaque of appreciation nila sa stage sa harap mismo ng organizers. At ngayon dinedelete nila yung mga bad comments sa thread about the said tournament tapos binaban nila ang accounts. Yung screenshot na pinost ko parang may alam na mas mabigat yung nag post niyan. May binabanggit pa siyang mga game fixing. Yung team pala na sumulpot sa top 6 eh di nag qualify sa Mindanao Finals pero biglang nakapaglaro sa tournament dahil may kakilala yung organizer sa team na yun. Kumbaga parang ang goal lang ng organizers ng tournament na ito is to maximize profit since mataas pa ang market ng airsoft sa mga lugar na zamboanga at cdo kasi bago pa daw sa mga lugar na ito. Malaking pera ang makukuha nila sa mga tournaments. Imagine P1250 per player on a 21 man team tapos 18 teams ang sumali. Almost half a million.

i been playing airsoft for almost 3 years now and im a member of the FAS forum for 2 years now, pro bihira me mag post dun, ksi paulit ulit na din ang mga thread, napunta lng me dun sa buy and sell section.

all i can say in playing airsoft lhat tau MINSAN nag zozombie, un iba nga nde lng MINSAN, plagi na, pro nde na asenso un mga un, its natural to our sport, if may mkalaro ka na makunat, isa lng ang solution nmin ng team nmin dyan, saktan mo na at lapitan mo, pra msaktan, im sure aamin nman yan pag nadugo n ktwan nyan, hahaha, lhat nman pati ng sports may daya or niluluto ang desisyon, pro khit gnun pa din, we enjoy pa din in playing airsoft. diba?
