The wait is finally over. Just a day ahead of its official live unveiling at the 2014 LA Auto Show, Ford has pulled the sheets off its new Shelby GT350 Mustang. Let’s get straight to it: power comes from a high-revving flat-plane crankshaft 5.2-liter V8 that will produce more than 500 horsepower. It’s the most powerful naturally aspirated Ford production engine ever. Peak torque is above 400 lb-ft. A six-speed manual and Torsen limited-slip differential come standard, while an engine oil cooler and transmission cooler will be a part of the optional "Track Pack."
