Some say its because the most precious things in Life can't be seen with the naked eyes. U have to look within...and that what lovers do when kissing.

But i think its because of the sensation u get. Its out-of-this-world so u probably have to shut your eyes from this world to savor the moment in its entirety.

Some people kiss with eyes wide open anyway.

for me it's because,they want to feel the passion of "kissing" ...
especially if the person they're kissing is the person they love most.

Eyes closed is the way to go. It can really help you shut out the world and focus only on the kiss. Also, kissing with your eyes open can weird out a guy, if he happens to catch you doing it. It is considered, as guys who kiss with their eyes open are usually thinking of something else besides you. If you catch your partner kissing with eyes wide, be careful - he might not be good boyfriend material.
Ako kc minsan i open my eyes, when we're already kissing, sometimes i open my eyes and shut it again to make the kiss more romantic and erotic......try this, mas maging exciting yung kiss nyo,,,,,......

I think the most logical rationale why "lovers" close their eyes is because of the ecstatic feeling or sensation that goes through the person. It's similar to when gusto mo nang umihi kaso limang oras mo na tong pinipigilan, hindi po ba pag-ihi mo'y pipikit ang mga mata mo sa sarap? Or the moment when you clean your ears using cotton buds, but then you end up liking it sexually rubbed in your ear? Hindi ba pumipikit ka rin?
