accessing website via IP Address

hmm tanong ko lang, possible bang ma-visit ang website thru IP Address ng wala syang sariling domain name?

subdomain lang kasi yung ginagamit ko, gusto ko sanang ma-visit ang site gamit ang IP address nya.. parang ganito http://192.168.1.1 [kunwari yan yung ip address nung website]

possible ba?

eto ang kanyang ip add 82.197.131.14

gusto ko pag 82.197.131.14 ang ita-type ko sa address bar, iloload nya yung index page nung website..

kung pwede, how?

simple lang dude pang trace ng ip add ng isang domain name ng isa site.. open ka cmd tas ping mu using domain name
e.i. "ping espiya.com" after that magkakaroon ka ng reply na pinging {ip address}..in that case makukuhan mu public ip nila.. diba trabaho ng domain name server is to convert the ip add to words so that it is easy to remember...
macth better to search using the ip than the domain name speed itself, because when you try to access using the domain name it redirect you to DNS server and search what ip address corresponding when that domain name, while you you use ip address it will direct you to the server that you are trying to access... Hopefuly I helped you...

correct me if im wrong, pero sa pagkaka-lam ko pwede...kung alam mo public ip address...pero kung nakiki-host lang malamang hindi pwede...let say San Miguel Corp, they are a big corp...may public ip addresses na ginagamit website nila..the other one i know is Landbank, they have DNS server, but can also access the website if you know their public ip.
