D'leonor inland resort and wavepool
« on: December 10, 2011, 10:30:40 pm »
kakatapos lang ng party namin dito. the place is very nice BUT the service is very bad.

ang nakalagay sa contract was we would start at 8am, pero at 8am dun pa lang nagstart mag setup yung technical crew nila. nakalagay din sa contract that they would provide water dispenser with free one bottle, succeeding ones, we will pay 150 per bottle. kaso at around 930 (mga 9 na kami nakastart), napansin ko wala ang dispenser so pinafollow up ko na, tinatanong kung asan na yung dispenser. wala rin tubig sa CR sa gym, pero CR sa mga rooms may tubig. 1030, follow up again, sabi kinuha pa raw sa d'leonor bajada. 1130 wala parin.

330pm at natapos na kami lahat2x sa bill hindi dumating yung tao. and we were there for more than 1 hour already just to settle the bill. hindi ko na hinintay yung tao at umuwi nalang baka abutin pa ako ng 5pm dun sa kakahintay dun sa tao. ganun kabagal ang service.

the worst part was that i heard yung nag regional convivence daw pala yung Neo catechumenal way nung november, mga 300 people, they (may mga empleyado na members) also had the same experience of very bad service.

so the place may be very nice but because very bad service, hindi worth it pumunta dito. next week yung sister company namin naman ang mag party dun. of course the feedback they will hear wont be good but since its a little late to change plans, i guess magtitiis nalang din sila sa sobrang pangit na service.

yes thats not fair for paying customers to be treated like that. kahit ako iinit din ulo ko pag ganyan.

same owner but that cannot be the reason. syempre iba ang mga tao dun sa emars and dito sa d'leonor. kung may problema, then it would be dun sa may ari and mga tao sa emars. it shouldn't affect etong nasa d'leonor since hindi naman the same people ang namamahala, just the same owner

I read in the print regarding the closure of Emar because of failure to comply the necessary permits. I am amused by the management's reasoning that the LGU of Davao should not close their facility on the ground that after all, they are paying taxes.

To me, it seems that the owner is just after of the profit knowing the growing trend of influx of tourist in the Davao region. But they (including layman) should born in mind that taxes should not be confused with permits. Taxes are imposed by the State in the exercise of its Taxation Power whereas Permits are exercised through Police Power. Taxes are imposed as a revenue process under the lifeblood principle while permits are more on regulatory process of the govt to ensure that those engaging in business complies with the requirements for the general welfare.

On topic, we, as concerned tax payers/customers, should not patronize this kind of establishment. If they can't afford to pay the necessary permits, then it is expected that they could not also afford to give us quality service. :D

thats rite sir. i dont want to sound like that im defending them. in fact kung saken nangyari yan baka may pinag umpog na kong mga empleyado doon.
ang nakita ko lang kasi ay unang una, di pa ganoon ka handa yung place to accomodate all of these na nag build up na booking sa d'leonor at emars. kitang kita naman na kahit na sa water supply ay parang di pa na tap from the source to the gym. pati supplies ay kinulang pa sila. may mga kakilala din kasi ako from diffrent companies na nakapagbook sa emars na nilipat sa dleonor.
i agree that it has nothing to do with who's the owner. im just answering somebodys statement.
talagang its gonna be a hell of an experience dealing with incompitent employees to respond on a tough situation.

sama sama tayo. e ban natin yang place.

kelan kayo nakabook? biggest problem niyo is kung december kayo nakabook, mahirapan na kayo maghanap ng ibang lugar. like yung sister company namin na sa dec 18 party nila dun din. medyo too late na para magchange venue pa sila so they will just have to bear with the bad service like us.
