this happens to both M/T and A/T cars. Both when you let go of the throttle and engage the clutch...same as an A/T car. have them check your idle timing first. Everything else follows, like throttle position, or if your fuel/air ratio is still correct. The ECU comes into play coz it just senses the physical condition of the car - as the sensors tell it. I just dont know any shops here in manila that can map what error your ECU throws out, coz that's a little bit more accurate. But go for the ignition and engine timing first. Do not let anyone rewire your sensors first, coz it's like disabling it, then the next thing you know - your CHECK ENGINE light is on...always.
