hi guys. i have nissan sentra GS 2008 model. can someone tell me if the O/D OFF really help to save fuel consumption.

by experience, when the o/d is on, it adds like another gear. example. sa expressway, with o/d off and running fast, when you turn on the o/d, the rpm will go lower and will give more power.

i think its only effective on highway driving than city driving.
