HDtv for the PS3

San ba makakabili ng pinakamurang HDtv for my PS3? Kapos na kasi ako sa budget since buying PS3 and now need ko HDtv as cheap as possible kasi may games normal-appearing hindi tumatakbo kapag hindi HDtv, kasi SDtv lang meron kami.

And yung LCD monitor ko sa PC paano ba yun gamitin sa PS3 ko, make it high-def? Wala kasi yata itong HDMI support, I think. DVI if I’m not mistaken.  May nabasa akong TVbox sa SM pero mahal 3900 or something tas whats the difference kung HDMI to DVI cable sa CDRking ang bibilhin ko?  Haayyyyyy so problematic ako sa TV hehehe!

Better buy ka na lang ng HDMI-DVI cable bro... di rin naman ganun ang difference at di hamak na mura pa... Yung sounds dadaan siya sa RCA cable bili ka nalang din ng jack...

Yan din ang naisip kong paraan as of now pero hindi ko alam kung saan magsimula.

So ang setup ng mga items dyan ay?

1. LCD (DVI)
2. PS3
3. HDMI cable
4. ano pa?

I heard wala nga siyang sounds kasi iba yung slot niya? Pwede ko ba gamitin ang speaker? Ano yung RCA cable? Dami kong abbreviations naririnig lalo akong nahihilo hahaha thanks sa reply malaking tulong yan papanoorin ko pag-uwi yan nasa work pa kasi ako ngayon. :D

Yung RCA cable bro yung gamit natin sa SDTV yung Red/White/Yellow cable so audio lang padadaanin mo doon pero yung video nung PS3 is thru HDMI-DVI cable... Yup pwede mo siya gamitin sa PC speakers bili ka lang nung Jack para ma-connect mo siya...

Salamat yun pala tawag dun hehehe nubs in da haws haha :D

Try ko maghanap ng decent LCD para sa console pero di ko alam kung san magandang deal tsaka mura ayoko kasi gamitin yung sa PC kasi ayaw ko papalit palit. Baka may masuggest kayo. Salamat talaga medyo nalilinawan nako hehe

sa goldcrest 1300 lang yung tvbox para magamit mo yung lcd mo tapos tingin ka sa pier baka may hd tv na dun toast::

there's abig difference using if your using HDMI than other standard cables. as to my experienced i sued those standard cables  ps3-HDlcd ang panget hindi maganda ang picture quality while HDMI cable kahit mjo mahal it is worthy! the audio is amazing the picture uality is great & awesome lalo na pag Hd Lcd or even Samsung LCd Hd w/c is i have wow! crystal clear.. gusto ko sana Bravia kaso mahal so i choosed Smasung LcdHd lesser price the same picture qualty (as for me)

by the way dont forget optic cable for audio ps3 to Pioneer Component w/ BOSE speakers what can i say? wow!

Mabaliw baliw nako sa mga input ng mga kakilala ko sakin sobrang nalilito na talaga ako.

Sabi nung isa pwede ko gamitin Samsung 15.6" na LCD monitor ko para sa PC, yung isa naman sabi hindi. Reply ng isa need ko lang ng HDMI to DVI cable, reply naman ng isa pwede pero need ko ng TVBox something.

Ano ba talaga ang true?

if yer gonna choose a monitor thats right for you make sure it has alot of vid input... the more the better so you can maximize the potential of yer monitor. pick one that has  an dvi-hdmi connection as you never know yer pc monitor is gonna kick the bucket. what better way to save up some money if yer monitor can  act as yer console's monitor and pc monitor at the same time... dont choose a monitor wit built-in speaker since they sound terribly. consider the contrast (especially the intensity/projection of black *wag maciadong madilim dapat), aspect ratio (16:9; 4:3 format etc), max resolution, response time (avoid monitors that does blurring/ghosting of the images). research ka na lang para mas marami kang choices.

Thanks. Hirap pala magshop for screens. Kung ikaw lang ang masusunod, walang bababa ng 10k eh below than that lang ang budget ko since I just recently bought my PS3 kinain na yung pera haha hindi ko inexpect na ganun. I should've known better.

Pero san ba yung sinasabi nilang Pier na may mga tindang murang TVs? :D Interesado ako dun. :D

If you want a cheaper alternative to those expensive HDTVs for your PS3 gaming pleasure, may I suggest you to take a look at this monitor:



It' the Hanns-G HG216D 22' widescreen LCD monitor. Although meant to be a PC monitor, it has an HDMI port, thus allowing your to connect your PS3 (and other devices) via HDMI. It supports up to 1080i resolution. Bought one months ago habang nag-iipon ako for a bigger monitor. Ok naman siya, may built-in pang speakers as a bonus (kaso tunog lata hehehe). If I remember it correctly, I bought it for about 10K+ pesos sa PC Express. Check it out :)

Check the monitor if ever kung kaya nya mag 1080p. My monitor is HDMI ready. Samsung 2493hm  toast:: PC na, PS3 pa!

i saw an AOC 1080p with HDMI $179 mura kesa bibili ka ng P20k+ na LCD HD TV eh may tv ka naman na sa bahay hehehe
