Can anyone verify this yung frend ko na set up  sa megamall may pinahawak sa kanyang paper bag na may nakaw ng item tapos siya yung nahuli tapos pinuntahan ng family niya ang sm to ask a copy of the video para pa imbestiga sa police at ang sabi daw ng sm ay WALA DAW SILA CCTV. Naniniwala ba kayo dito?

Better ask your friend to seek the assistance of a lawyer so that the latter can write to the Mall's Management for the procurement of a copy of their video. Mahirap kasi kung basta2x lang kayo susugod dun to ask for a copy. Of course they will deny having one para iwas abala. Pero kung me formal request from a lawyer or police investigator, malamang mag accede yan sila sa request. Ang pagkakaalam ko, me mga cctv cameras yan sila na inilalagay pero sa mga piling lugar lamang like the entrance doors.

It depends on what part of the mall.  A few stores have surveillance camera like in CD-R King. They have a webcam for their private security reasons. So they will have proof of shoplifting. For the mall wide CCTV, they have cameras on the entrance only not on the walkways.
