With the
Chinese New Year just a day or two away, people will be flocking to
Binondo and
Ongpin to buy amulets, statues, bracelets, and other items that are supposed to help them start the
Year Of The Wood Horse with good fortune on their side.
The EcoWaste Coalition, however, would like to remind everyone to be careful of the charms they purchase since luck might not be what the buyer gets in return for their money.
