ok PROBLEM 1 u made 2 separate thread isa ATE mo ung isa KUYA mo, ano ba talaga KUYA/ATE  laffman:: sana man lang inayus mo kc parang nanloloko ka hehe

anyway u bought a psp then upgraded it to the latest official firmwire of 3.30, sad to say U CANT PLAY ISOs on ur PSP coz the last CUSTOM FW that allowed ISO play on ur PSP or on ur PC was 3.10 Open Edition(OE)A2' and as of now thats the last custom made firmwire made by DarkAlex(also known as the God of PSP hacking) the last system downgrader was for 3.03 fws and not even 3.10, so if uve upgraded ur psp to anything above 3.03(the official ones from sony) U CANT PLAY ISOs or use any of the thousands of cool homebrew applications

CUSTOM FWs are made form upgrades release by sony to allow ISO play and Homebrew use, SONY releases updates better than those already hacked to keep security in the hardware and prevent people from playing ISOs and still need to buy PSP UMDs and also play PSX(or PS1) games on the psp

if u buy a PSP and are rich enough to BUY UMDs and never use ISOs(in other words u dnt wana hack ur psp) u can settle for any FW

if u want a ISO ready PSP get one with 1.50fw(WARNING MOST NEW GAMES DEMAND 3.01fw and up even if they are ISO), from 1.50 u can UPGRADE to any of the existing CUSTOM FWs that are around like 2.71SEC or 3.03OEC and up to the latest 3.10OEA2'

most PSPs in the market have 2.71,2.80-3.03 the gud thing is these FWs are DOWNGRADABLE to 1.50 and can be upgraded to any of the CUSTOM FWs

3.30OEA is rumored to be released in march hehe i cant wait to upgrade my psp

mukhang matagal na ito, CORE packs only cost $149 nowadays and the gigapacks and entertainemnt packs hit the $200 mark

salamat ng marami

1) from what i know yes via Wifi, wats d point of surfing the net and plugging it to ur pc? edi sa pc ka na lang magsurf
2) i perfer US versions kc matigas ung mga buttons pero BLACK AND WHITE LANG meron sa US, ASIAN version have Blue, Silver and the ever popular PINK, mas madali daw bumigay ang buttons ng asian
3) 3.03OEC fw, waiting for 3.30OE kc ayaw ko na dumaan sa 3.10OEA2' kc buggy daw
4) pinabili sa US last OCT, entertainment pack $249 with 1 UMD game 1 movie 1 gb MSPD and i got an extra $99 4gb MSPD for games, im getting an 8gb MSPD soon
5) camera is only available in the asian market and via ebay, wala retailers sa US, retail price is P3200(tutuban game shop na tago)-P3800(toykingdom) note that the cam is 1.3mpxl but only takes 640x480 shots
6) depende sayo, 1 UMD is 1.8GB so if u wana play games like TEKKEN dark resurection na 1.6gb u need a 2gb MSPD, if u want more content u get a 4gb mspd if u have money to spare get the 8gb mspd, i prefer buying original crapccessories than fake one(class A and B) but ok naman daw ung mga ganun, malas mo lang pag sirain talag nakuha mo mspd

walang anu man

mspd is memory stick pro duo.....

mas risky shempre ang pag  downgrade...better to let more experienced people do it for you....

yung akin kakatamad magdowngrade kaya stick to umds muna....hehehe

MSPD=Memory Stick Pro Duo is the proprietary memory accessory for th PSP and othe Sony and SE devices, MSPDs are used in digicams and popular SonyEricsson celfones like p910,p990i and w850i

MSPDs can vary in size from 32mb, 64mb, 128mb, 256mb, 512mb, 1gb, 2gb, 4gb and 8gb... a 4gb MSPD is around 3000-8000 depending on where u buy it from and if its fake or original, 8gb MSPDs are as of now available only in the US for $229(and thats original)

1 UMD game can range from 1000 all the way to 4000 depending on the retailer/seller and the age of the game plus consider if it is brand new or 2nd hand, well known games for sure hit the 3500-4000 mark like Tekken DR

DO THE MATH... 1 4gbMSPD is 4000 and u can put 2 games(assuming its a great game)  in there coz 1 UMD is 1.8gb so lets say u buy Tekken DR and Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops both on th3 3500 price so 2 games @ 7000 against 1 MSPD 4gb @ 3000, also consider the fact that not ALL games are actually 1.8gb, some games are 500mb only but are put on 1.8gb UMDs and sold at 3500 like "DRAGONBALL Z SHIN BUDOKAI: Another road" which costs the price of a brand new game but is only 700mb ISO and 500mb CSO

REMEMBER PSP games can now be ripped into ISO form so u can put them into memcards and play direct, ISOs can also be compressed to smaller CSOs to save space,  playing PS1 games and other ROMs from other old consoles like GBA,N64,saturn require MSPDs

also having a PSP that has been downgraded and have a CUSTOM FW allows u to play ISOs and ROMs and also run HOMEBREW APPS so if u plan to buy UMDs for all eternity stick to a PSP with an OFFICIAL FW and UPGRADE, if u want to use the best out of ur PSP have a custom FW installed to allow ISO and ROM play and homebrew use

imo! pag bibili kau ng psp, check nyo muna fw version, kunin nyo lang un version up to 3.03 kc hanggang dun lang ang possible na pwede i-downgrade to 1.50 then upgrade to 3.03oec/3.10oe w/c magagamit mo to the fullest ang psp mo (iso/cso games; ps1/snes/gbc/gba/sega/n64 emulator;  homebrew apps; mp3 with visualizer; 1.3 mp camera (optional)... ang latest fw ngaun is 3.30, and wag kyo mag-upgrade, sayang lang..
