it starts during elections.  saan ka nakakita ng kandidato na ang plataporma eh pagsayaw at paggiling sa entablado!  yes, i believe that majority of politicians are corrupt.  but there are also the untainted few.  and what is worst is we seem to succeed to ELECT the very corrupt ones.  we accept their bribe money during campaign period (ranging from 500 to 5000 pesos) and still elect them and get mad when we hear about them doing all their dirty tricks.  even the recently concluded barangay elections is not spared.  2 million expenses for a barangay post that will only bring the winner around 700k in wages for a 3 year term.  saan yan babawi sa remaining 1.3 balance?

i say pocket the money and vote who you think will do good for the country.
