Bio data collection scam... promising Marcos wealth..
« on: August 25, 2011, 05:16:31 pm »
I need this forums advise.  My friends grandmother in the Philippines has been involved in a group that collects bio data from people on the promise that they will be rewarded something from the sequestered wealth of the old Marcos regime.

Grandma has been dedicating too much time and effort towards this so-called foundation that it is starting to affect her health.

Can anyone here give me more insight about this so-called bio-data collection group?  I would like to be able to give my friend some advise.

Thank you!!

I was 9 years old when i saw a man talking to my parents promising them they will get a share also. Now I'm 30 years old and nothing happened. SURE is FAKE.

Well according to lola eto. Baka itinatago lang eto ni lola.

Any lawyers here or familiar sa Philippine law regarding the collection of private information?  If there is such a foundation claiming that they will at some point in the future give out money, are they not supposed to be registered with a certain government agency.

We need to talk sense into grandma so we need fact to be able to discredit these people.

Salamat.

bottom line: if someone promises "easy" money/fortune, it must be fake/bogus/spurious!
