Before declaring war, a country must assess its resources and economic ramifications....War is the greatest economic destructive activity any nation can do... A single bomb dropped by our bomber planes can cost 250,000 easy.... a mortar shell can cost 20,000....artillery shells costing 35,000.... how many of these can be consumed by the military? for how many days, weeks, months or years? How many millions of gallons of oil will be consumed? naturally, resources are shifted from the ordinary citizens to the military.... and all of these costs have no ROI.... this will result to very big budget deficits.... the government may be forced to increase tax, increase borrowing...which may result to food shortages, oil shortages, limited civil liberties, and mass unemployment.... there are many more consequences depending on the severity of military spending.... the war will be paid by us citizens....and possibly we may have to utitilize the resources of our next generation to compensate for the deficits of war and rebuilding.... if the majority is agreeable with the consequences, then let's declare war!
