Nakakatuwa dami nadidistract sa topic. Simple lang naman, alisin mo ang pangalang Marcos, alisin mo ang affiliation ni Leni sa mga Aquino... Now focus tayo sino ang may concrete na plano at plataporma sa bansa? Sino ang walang bahid ng kahit ano mang korapsyon o kaso? Sino ang may nagawa na, ginagawa at gagawin pa? Kanino mo pagkakatiwala ang pamilya mo?
The reason why we have elections is not only as an exercise of our democracy but a chance to choose how our country will be led for 6 years. So I am looking for a leader at simple lang basehan ko:
- A person who takes accountability. I have no problem for a President who accepts and takes credit, but that person should equally can take accountability
- A person who is good at helping people. A person who can ask for help and accept help when it is offered.
- A person who is not a lesser of two evil, but a person, from track record, has no traces of any criminal offense
- A person who is consistent on the goals and plans even before they were elected to a public office.
Now, stripping all political and filial affiliations, sino ang iboboto mo? The only qualified based on the poll is Leni.
Hindi ko iboboto si Leni dahil gusto ko siya manalo, iboboto ko siya kasi gusto ko manalo ang mga Pilipino. I think naman we deserve a leader who embodies the Filipino values, who has a clear plan for the Philippines and a leader we can be proud of na kaya natin ipagmalaki at makisabayan sa mga leaders ng iba't ibang bansa. More than unity, we need collaboration. More than promises we need a concrete plans. More than a leader who is present only at elections, we need a leader who is transparent. Ang boto ko ay para sa mga Pilipino, para sa kinabukasan ng mga magiging apo ko at sa kinabukasan mo (kung sino man nagbabasa nito).
