She founded Lakas ng Kababaihan ng Naga, was the past president of the Naga City Council for Women, and a member of Federacion International de Abogados.

She also worked with the Public Attorney’s Office.

Occupation before politics

Before entering public service, Leni Robredo was a researcher and economist at the Bicol River Basin Development Program Office from 1986 to 1987. She was an Economics professor at the Universidad de Sta. Isabel from 1987 to 1997, a job she took on while earning her degree in law. After passing the bar, she joined the Public Attorney's Office until 1999, rendering legal assistance, counseling, and other legal services to indigent litigants to ensure their free access to the courts, as mandated by the Constitution. She then joined Sentro ng Alternatibong Lingap Panligal (SALIGAN) - Bicol Chapter, where she was branch coordinator and lawyer for 13 years. Here, she represented marginalized individuals in court, and provided legal education for clients through legal clinics and helping them understand relevant laws by translating and publishing Bicol Versions of the text. Aside from this, Leni Robredo founded Lakas ng Kababaihan in Naga in 1992 and was President of Naga City Council for Women from 2008 to 2010.

Guys, wag na mag away2x. Lahat naman tayo naniniwala na mananalo na manok natin. 

Wag awayin yung di kapareho ng paniniwala. Pano pa ma enganyo na iboto manok natin kung nakipagsagutan ka lang.

Pareho lang yan sa nagbebenta ng produkto.  Di inaaway ang potential na buyer. Pag inaaway yan, lalong di bibili (iboboto) yan (manok natin).

Kagaya ng sabi ko dati, hindi pa nagkamali ang mga pre-election surveys ng mga sikat na firms… SWS, Pulse Asia, etc. Magandang indicator kasi ang survey. Kung nasa 1st yung manok natin, ibig sabihin tama yung strategy na ginagawa. Kung nasa 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc, kelangan pang doble kayod sa kampanya. Or baka change strategy.

Madali lang naman puntahan ang websites ng SWS at Pulse Asia at tingnan yung surveys nung 2004, 2010, at 2016 presidential elections. Tingnan yung data kung sumablay ba yung survey VS yung result ng election. Kung naniniwala ka, good for you. Alam mo na gagawin mo. Kung di ka naniniwala, good for you pa rin.
