How it works:

To JOIN:

* Simple choose from the available groups, read the description, then click on the Join this Group button. You will then have access to the Board/Boards that are owned by that group.

To Create a GROUP
* Click on the Create a Group link at the bottom of the Groups list
* Fill in the form, then submit
Note:
* The Group name shall also be the Board name
* Choose your words carefully. You cannot edit the Group name or description as of the current time. An editing option will be added later.

* The creator of the group shall be the group owner and moderator.
Note: Forum Enforcers (Vigilantes) have access to all user-created groups. Global moderators have moderator status in user-created groups.

* Each member is only allowed to create a maximum of 3 groups, but do not create more than one group if you don't need to.

SPECIAL NOTES:

+ Your group should have a very specific NICHE or INTEREST. Do not DUPLICATE an already existing Board in the Main forum area. This can be prevented by NOT creating groups that discuss a very general or broad category. THE PINOYSPY GROUPS was created for NICHE discussions.

+ Regional groups are discouraged, because we already have regional forums which are very specific down to the provincial level. So if you plan to create a group for your highschool classmates or baranggay, try posting first in the regional forums because people looking for their "kababayans" look in the Regional forums first.

+ If your group discussions contain topics and materials of an ADULT nature, please place an age requirement or warning in your Group Description.

+ Do not create a group for testing, or just to see how it works -- because it will become LIVE as soon as you create it and members will join. We reserve the right to delete groups created for "testing" purposes.

+ If you wanted to create a group, but there is already a group that is very similar to the group you have in mind, just join that group instead of creating a new one.

+ This feature is a privilege, so don't abuse it. We reserve the right to delete groups or discontinue this service without any notice.

+ Our groups are not storage of images or photos. Do not use the groups to store and upload your photo collections. Abuse of this system can lead to dire consequences.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
* I can join all groups, can't I?
Answer: Yes, but for every group you join, another board is added to your Forum frontpage, so if you don't want too much clutter, don't join all groups you see. Just pick out the one that really interests you.

* I want to delete a Group I created. Can I do it myself?
Answer: No. You have to request it by sending a PM to any member of the Admin Team. This is the reason why we discourage creating groups for testing purposes, because it will require extra effort to delete the group you created and its corresponding board.
