Sayang mga tol, kayang kaya natin ang Jordan, kung napanisin nyo, tatlo lang ung magaling sa team nila,
at ung isa eh Kano pa. we should have won, kasi andun na eh nababa na natin sa 5pts ung lamang, tas
momentum nasa side na natin. well tama ang ating mga kaespiya na we should be proud instead na sisihin natin
si ganito,si ganyan.. pero nakakapanghinayang talaga, if we just rebounded better i think pwedeng maiba ung final
results. Sobrang bwiset lang ako kay Sonny Thoss for the fact na mas malaki sya kay Habas at andaming
nasusungkit ni Habas na rebound. kung napanood nyo ung game mga tol, hindi sya tumatalon and sobrang
BAGAL nyang kumilos, may crucial part kasi na ang score eh 70-63, tapos nakakuha ng offensive Rebound ang
Jordan kasi sa Replay, Thoss was not boxing out properly at hindi sya tumatalon, i mean c'mon, eto na do or die
game, mas mabigat pa sa game 7 ng PBA finals, this is for the flag, dapat bigay todo. And one thing pa, mali
magpasok si coach Yeng ng mga tao, magaling na si Japeth Aguilar at dapat ginamit naman nya even just for
rebounding purposes, remember Japeth is 6'9" with a long wingspan at mataas tumalon, i dont know why
on f*cking hell bakit hindi sya ginamit??? or kahit pinasok nya sana si ASI for Thoss at gawing nyang PF si Pennissi,
pero wala eh, kabadtrip si Yeng Guiao, Kitang-kita na nga ang problem eh rebounding tapos wala syang ginawa,
kung ang player eh walang magawa kung ganun sya kabobo, sana ang coach ang magadjust. haaaay..
its been 11 years since we last won something in an international tournament. i hope magtuloy tuloy na ang
proposed na long-term goal for International basketball, kasi nung 2002 pa sa sinusulong un eh.
well even though we lost, at least nalaman natin na kaya natin talunin ang Power teams sa Asia, with the right
line-up, right system, and RIGHT COACH. i hope this heartache of our country would end at 11 years.

kung talent at talent lang din e kayang kaya natin kanina jordan e...pero sa rebound lang talaga nagkatalo...harabas ata full name ni habas e...lakas ng pangamoy sa bola palagi kanya ung rebound...ok naman na coach si yeng guiao...ang mali niya lang kanina e un nga di niya pinasok si japhet...kahit di na siya umiskor rebound at depensa lang pede na siya...well ganun talaga paminsan minsan e may mga pagkakamali din...

i feel the same with you bro, it's been so hard to watch the our team fails, pero wala tayong magagawa eh, kung hindi mag tutulungan yung mga officials ng basketball natin, heads up parin para sa team nating ngayun, na maski for a short time of practice medyo maganda narin ang ipinakita nila, i hope maabutan pa natin yung time na makakapag-compete tayo as the same level ng mga world-class basketball players, or in other sports, almost same din eto ng dream ko sana may athlete or athletes na maka-kuha ng gold sa olympics, which is what the team pilipinas/ Filipinos are hoping for.....

mga bro, sana kung naipasok ung ibang foul throw baka nag iba pa ang game, and sana naman, ibalik na ung mga outside shooter like ni d.hontiveros, j.alapag, si david ng burger king. dapat tuloy tuloy ang training, isama din nila c harvey c. ng talk n'text. kayang kaya natin sana ang jordan, kaya lang biglang nag error si miller, sayang! pero saludo pa rin ako sa Team Pilipinas!

sana kung makukuha nila yung 5th spot, me wildcard pa naman....pero kasali na rito yung mga wildcard entries ng FIBA Europe, Africa, Americas at Oceania(?)...meaning mas madaming kalaban para sa competition na ito...

meron pa namang qualifier sa 2011 para sa london 2012 olympiad...

we have no chance winning any international games especially basketball if we are playing as a team. i mean dapat magfocus na lang tayo on individual sports, dun tayo magaling eh. if we implement development programs for this maybe we can get our first olympic gold soon.

I feel your pain ka-espiya.  Look at the bright side:  This experience has been humbling yet meaningful at the same time.  Marami tayong nakuhang insights on the current international style of play (at least in the Asian region) and so sana e i-capitalize na natin to sa mga susunod na international meets.  Tama na ang pulitika, hindi lang sa basketball kundi sa buong Philippine sports.  Let's get the job done, and let's do a good job at that.  If kailangan mag-merge ng Smart-Gilas at ibang PBA players then so be it, tapos lagyan mo ng magaling na coaching staff na very open to learn (i.e. paghire ng foreign staff etc.) at systematic ang style and nagfofocus sa teamwork.  Kaya ng Pilipinas, kailangan lang magtulungan.

May pagasa ang Pilipinas!

with all my heart i am so depressed yet here are the points needed to understand why team pilipinas IMO

Probably japeth's lack of experience compared to thoss maybe the reason why Giuao did'nt use him but we can also say that japeth's fresh and youthness can be factor to be used for rebounding purposes but then again fragile pa nga si japeth sa injury so maybe to protect it Guiao chose thoss over him...

Probably the fact that habas is so good is enough to accept the fact that we have'nt reached the peak of our goal,that there is more room for improvement,more training is necessary more evaluation is needed and more support from the Filipino people would be appreciated by our team pilipinas


And maybe, just maybe if we keep our hopes high enough, strong enough we'll make it to the top

hmmmm...may tanong lang ako hah...
kasi sa PBA makikita mo ung importance ng import...
anlaki ng mga roles nila...tas ung mga pinoy na players natin ehh parang "dependent" pa rin sa mga import or imports ussually dictates the pace and result of the game... iilang teams lng or beses lng na ung mga pinoy talaga ung nagdadala ng laro...my point is...kung ung mga imports na yan ehh nde natanggap or nde man lng sumikat sa NBA....tas pagdating nila d2 ehh mga unstoppable force na sila halos...pano tayo magdodominate sa international games?...
