Rajko Toroman (born February 10, 1955) is a Serbian professional basketball coach. He is currently the Philippines National Team Project Director for Basketball having been hired by country’s basketball federation Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas. Previously, he works with the Iranian Basketball Team which brought the country to the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

puro college players ah...mukhang kelangan nila ng sandamukal na experience kasi sa ngayon e masasabi mo pang hilaw pa sila...dapat iexpose sila sa maraming international league para masanay sila makalaro mga foreigner...

kung sis toroman nga ang coach noong 2008 beijine olympics ng iran well good... tama ka pero currently the head coach of iran ngayon si Head coach Veselin Matić... kung tama sya well ok.. sorry for me diba... ganun talaga nagkakamali rin tao lang kasi ako eh... saka meron nanaman pupuna dyan.... alam ko na mga gimik nyo sasakay nanaman kayo... pero sakin lang opinyon at info ko lang ito.... meron ding pagkakamali ok.... kung pupnahin nyo ako... ok lang.. i deserved it... pero sana walang bastusan... ok???

The RP team played very good defense in the fiba-asia tourney but unfortunately the offense was terrible. I'm not a coach, i'm just a bball fan but i have some suggestions for the philippine team. Next time they join an international tournament, they should employ a running game, throw quick outlet passes before the opponent can set up their defense. A half-court set against taller players really won't work. If we do really have to play half-court, i suggest that our players don't dribble too much and just use good ball movement to find the open man. Set good picks to open up jumpshots. Forget playing lowpost or driving to the hoop, it won't work against seven-footers. The RP team should stick to jumpshots, not necessarily 3-pt shots but perimeter shots will be good enough. From our big men down to the guards, all the players should learn to be decent jumpshooters.
