In my solitude
You showed up from nowhere.
Trying to share my chaos,
Relieving of my burdens.
I was so afraid then -
You were a stranger, I, a lover
I feared every person
Who came to my life
But you offered me of friendship
And assured me of your care.
You discouraged me from my
Solitary journey
And threw my fears away.
With no ifs and buts
I accepted your sweet words
And learned to treasure
Our very moment together.
You brought me joy
As we knew each other deeper
I felt so strong and so secure
in your hands
I never hurdled rocks
on my own.
Then you said you would leave me
But would be back soon
I believed you and waited
Hoping that you would return.
Long years have passed
You never return by my side
Without you by my side
I have learned things in my life.
