ISANG kaibigan ang tumawag sa amin para ibalita ang nakitang pambabastos ng isang maniac kay Regine Tolentino sa isang mall.

Nagsa-shopping daw si Regine sa Glorietta, Makati City, kasama ang mother niya nang biglang sumulpot ang isang lalaki’t kinunan ng video ang dibdib ng TV host gamit ang cellphone camera.

Buti na lang at may guwardiyang malapit sa kanila, kaya sinugod nito ang lalaki at dinala sa istasyon ng pulis para imbestigahan at sampahan ng kasong malicious mischief.

Pinatotohanan ni Regine ang nasabing insidente sa Unang Hirit at nagpasalamat sa mga guwardiyang tumulong sa kanya.

Sa susunod daw na mag-shopping siya, mag-iingat na para ’di  maulit ang insidente.

Parang publicity stunt lang yun nangyari to get media mileage for Ms. Regine.  Baka meron syang launch na bagong video or bagong pelikula so she needs a newspaper exposure.

In the first place, dyan sa Glorietta eh dami nag shopping dyan mga personalities and regulars there don't bother or care.  Maybe a glance but not to the extent as what the mischief was represented to have done. Baka pag mga youngsters pa or the "sikat" now like Ms. Marian eh pagkaabalahan tingnan.  Hindi naman yata actress or TV host yun na "in" para siguro pagaksayahan ng ganung "krimen".

I have nothing against Ms. Regine nor do I personally know her.  But I feel the stunt itself looks very cheap.  Secondly, she is supposed to be a public figure so taking a photo of her even of her breast part wont land anyone in Muntinglupa.  What's the difference between talking a photo of the legs of Ms. Gloria while she is giving a speech and taking a photo of the breast part of Ms. Regine which is not publicly exposed?
