question about vitamins..

advisable ba na uminom ng vitamins araw araw??

and if you're taking vitamins daily, nagagamit ba to ng katawan??? o iniihi lang yung higit sampung piso??? hehehe

kasi napapansin ko, everytime na iinom ako vitamins, yung ihi ko amoy vitamins...hehehe..so feeling ko tuloy parang iniihi ko lang yung ininom ko..

Amoy vitamins ang ihi mo? Buti inaamoy mo, hehehehe...

Joke lang. Para sa akin, kung palagay mo ay balanced naman ang diet mo, hindi mo naman kakailanganin MASYADO ng vitamins. Pero kapag umiinom ka ng alak, kape o softdrinks regularly (mga diuretic o pampaihi), or when you smoke, it's a good idea to take supplements of Vitamin C, and Vitamin B complex. Yan ang madalas kinukulang.

Kapag minerals naman, just go with the varied diet. And go easy on the salt, even when it's iodized. For me, it's not just with the nutrition thing but for the taste. Salt masks the fresh taste of food. And you only need tiny bits of minerals in your food. Still, when you drink or smoke, or when you expect a baby, it's a good idea to take supplements. Just avoid supplements that promise too much.

wala naman ako bisyo ehh..kaso napainom lang talaga aq vit esp. vitamin c kasi dati lagi ako kumakain ng prutas..every meal ko may prutas..but since lumipat ako, bihira na..kya ng vitamins ako..

Basta huwag mong sayangin ang pera mo sa mga product (especially supplements na NO THERAPEUTIC CLAIMS) na hindi kapani-paniwala ang promises. Saka read carefully sa Nutrition Facts. It doesn't mean na dahil may ginseng ang isang product, mas maganda na ito. Kakailanganin mo ba ang EXTRA ingredients nila? Just follow your common sense and makakatipid ka.

Saka huwag ka magpuyat. Masyado. Sa araw ka magbrowse sa forum! Heheheheeh...

Meron tayong tinatawag na Upper Limits (UL) ng mga vitamins na allowable per day. Although vitamins nga sila, may toxic level parin sila. Good thing for water soluble vitamins, pag sobra ang na-take mo, i-eexcrete mo lang ito through urine or feces. Fat soluble vitamins excess are stored in our adipose tissue.

kaya ginagawa ang vitamins para sa mga busy na tao na napapabayaan ang pagkain nila

common yan sa mga highly stress na tao tulad ng mga nag office  or sa mga napupuyat

sabi nila prolonged use of Vitamin C will lead to stone in the gallbaladder

sa panahon ngayon bihira na ang nag kakaroon ng balance diet or wala na nga yata.
sa bilis ng buhay ngayon, wala na tayong time para bumili pa ng tamang gulay at prutas sa palengke. nag kakasya na lang tayo sa mga instant na pagkain, mas mabilis i prepare at kainin.

hindi na rin kaya ng vitamin C alone yung mga nag labasang sakit ngayon, na imbento ang vitamin C 50 years ago and that time mabisang mabisa ang vitamin C kasi nga di pa naman ganun ka tindi ang mga sakit compare ngayon. nag upgrade na mga virus ngayon kaya dapat upgraded na rin anti virus natin hehehe

kamangi: yan ang iniinom ko ngayon na ini endorse ko rin. gawa sa iba't ibang fruit extracts. hindi sya vitamins at hindi rin gamot, food po sya na tumutulong ma achieve yung tinatawag nating balance nutrition which is sa food naman talaga natin nakukuha.

Kahit papano imporante parin maginom ng vitamins araw araw. It can still help improve yung body processes nito although, kung ano yung hindi na kailangan ng katawan mo eh tinatapon na eto.

Pero madalas, ang hirap kumain ng balanced diet. Kaya parang assurance na rin yun.

Pero naman po! Meron kasi ang kakilala na ginawang 3 times a day yung vitamins nya!
cecon and centrum sa umaga
fern c and 2 tabs ng stress tabs sa tanghali
tapos enervon and 1 a day vitamins and minerals.

ginawa ba namang gamot? hahaha :D

just remember.. watch out ka sa intake mo ng fat soloble vitamins (A,D,E,K)... mahirap kapag ito ang sumobra dahil nai store ito sa liver for future use.. imagine kapag nasobrahan ka nito, pwedeng maging toxic sa liver mo... kapag naman water soluble vitamins like B complex and vit C, be sure na you drink recommended amount of water because it is being excreted in the kidney so kapag kokonti ang inum mo ng tubig, kidney mo naman ang mahihirapan.... yun lang po ang input ko.. hehe..

di ba bro kung sobra naman naimom mo na vitamin automatic naman na inilalabas to ng ating katawan?
badtrip science ngayon sa sobrang complex u have to watch out of this and that,ung ganitong pagkain
contains ganitong calories,vitamin c etc..mga tao sobrang conscious sa intakes nila dati di naman ganito yet

Depends on your body metabolism and your ADL (activities of daily living).

Kasi parang useless po ang supplements kung di naman po tayo active at di masyado nagagamit ng katawan.

Pag inactive po kasi ang bodily activities natin eh some nutrients are not synthesized well to be utilized by our body.

iba pa rin pag may vitamis kasi pampandagdag yan ng resistensya depende na lang sa tao if hiyang sya sa vitamin na yun or kung what kind of vitamins ang gustong nyang gamitin... madami kasing klaseng ng vitamins like pampalakas ng resistensya, pampataba & pampagana kumain, panmpalakas ng immune system & anti-bodies etc. pero mas maganda if consult muna sa doctor or medical expert bago gumamit para mabigyan ng tamang prescription.

but if u wanna be sure that you have the adequate amount of vitamin level in your body

you can take vitamin pills...The only thing we should pay attention to is that the amount of vitamins we

 intake will not pass the recommended daily dose.

 Remember that too much of a certain vitamin can be harmful, too...

kasi po main function ng vitamins is pampalakas ng resistensya lalo na sa mga sakit... ganyan din sa friend ko madalas tamaan ng sipon pero kapag nagtatake sya ng cecon napakadalang na sipunin sya... yung isa naman taga call center ang bilis nya daw mapagod pag walang vitamins pero kapag nagtake sya ng centrum kahit daw 24 hours pa walang tulugan kayang-kaya nya.

ang dami na ring supplements na nasa market like supplement for the heart, liver, kidney, brain at marami pang iba. kelangan ba natin talaga mag supplement para maging healthy yung mga nasabing organs sa label ng mga supplements?
