pero regarding that particular thread, ala akong ginalaw dun. I seldom check violations on pretty pinay (usually only when someone makes a report) and mostly if I do moderate a thread, its locked right away if there are violations on the part of the thread starter (hindi na dadaan sa delete ng replies, locked agad).
I do delete right away some posts mostly in cellphone and computer sections when these refer to hacking and others related that can be used for destructive purposes.
I do not tolerate some posts and therefore they are deleted right away and I do not think it requires explanation (i.e. yung mga nagmumura or those posting to provoke someone else). Some mods will lock the topic instead, but for me I do not, I prefer to just remove some of the posts so the thread can remain open.
In cases where pics are removed (i.e. they are hotlinked from other sites which are not image hosting sites), I do not delete the post, I just remove all the pics and put PICS REMOVED.
each mod has their own style of how to handle things. sa dami ng postings dito, most of the time there just isn't enough time left to be too cordial by informing first, explain first, etc.
And yes mostly if i lock topics i just say its a violation of the rules and specify which rule. I no longer expound on why that particular topic is locked nor do I post redirection topics (yung mga topics na moved) for those topics I move (they consume too much space in the section which tend to overshadow the other threads).
