1) plug in your wireless adapter
2) if driver is not automatically installed or Windows does not have a PnP driver for your adapter the use the driver cd and install the drivers needed
3) when adapter is installed detect a wireless access point such as a Wifi routerand onnet to this network, remember that access points may have SSIDs for security so u have to know what the SSID keys are for the wifi network u want to connect to KEEPING in mind if u connect to an unprotected access point that u dnt know or has no security u may be walking into an unsafe network that may screw up ur system once u connect
4) if u are connecting to ur wifi access point and wish to make a small home office network u may do so similar to wired networks, remember to protect ur network by adding securities to it so that ur systems are not injected with viruses,adware,spyware and malware
