connect anywhere... there is a HOTSPOT, sa hotspots c pag nde free u r asekd to enter a username and password so u have to be a part of the network or BUY ACCESS to that network, here are a list of ways to connect wirelessly(note 1,2 and 3 means u can only connect using ur Laptop's Wifi 802.11 device) :
1) HOTSPOTS(free) - usually pc shops/cafes(kind hearted) and other establishments like schools and offices give free access to students and employees
2) HOTSPOTS(pay per access) - Airbourne Access is the company/provider who handles most of the PayPerAccess hotspots like starbucks where u have to either have an account with Airbourne Access itself or buy Internet access cards in those establishments
currently Airbourne Access offers a UNLIMITED Wireless Broadband access for P199 a month to SmartBRO and myDSL PLDT subscribers since both services are for homes only
3) Wireless Network/Access point - if u have broadband at home like SmartBro or myDSL u can configure ur house to become a wireless access point for numerous wifi capable devices like laptops and PDAs so that they can wirelessly access ur HOME NETWORK and the internet, u have to buy a WIRELESS ROUTER/ACCESS POINT device and setup a home/office netwrok
4) 3g/3.5g - as we all know 3g is the latest service that Globe and Smart offers for HIGHSPEED internet/data connection for ur mobile phones used for video calls and data transfer for uploading and downloading files from ur celfone to the internet, but is now also used so that u can connect to the internet WAY FASTER THAN STANDARD DSL connection speeds and can be used on ur LAPTOPS(using WIRELESS PCMCIA card)so u can CONNECT ANYWHERE... i think this is what u refer to as CONNECT anywhere
