mga fellow spies i have a severe tonsillitis bacterial 1 mont na ang maga ayaw maalis at nagbabaik balik ang nana nito ano po dapaty po medications>>

alam mo bro mas maganda sana kung patingin ka muna kasi minsan its not advisable na u take medicines without consulting ksi siempre kelangan talaga na makita ka nun doctor mo muna para malaman nya kung meron ka ba allergy sa gamot na balak nya ibigay, para malaman din nya kung ilan beses ka dapat inom nun gamot etc etc... kc kung basta ka lang iinom tapos bgla kang mangitim naku mahirap yan ......

sa ENT na doctor ka mag patingin dahil malala na iyan it's been month na iyan dba?? well sad to say ang immune systm mo ang maapektuhan dude..,

You diagnosed yourself already but sometimes...the doctor usually treats initially a patient with a working impression.Maybe the working impression of your doctor is Bacterial tonsillitis and thats not a diagnosis yet.

You have to answer the following questions: Any fever? (> or = 37.8 C); sorethroat?; difficulty of swallowing?; painful swallowing?; foul breath?; altered voice quality?


And most importantly the doctor must see these by physical examination: inflamed tonsils with exudates (pus..these are white spots in your tonsils); tender cervical lymph nodes upon palpation ("kulane sa leeg" in tagalog)

Tonsillitis refers to inflammation of the pharyngeal tonsils. It may be viral or bacterial. If its within 3 days...it may be considered viral. Bacterial if its more than 3 days associated with exudates.

Treatment for viral? nothing...just drink a lot of water or fruit juices, vitamins and paracetamol 500mg  every 4 hrs if theres a fever

Treatment for bacterial? Usually Filipino doctors will initially give you Amoxicillin 500 mg 3x daily for one week. You have to take the drug for one week and I mean ONE WEEK. Bactidol gargle with full strength, 3-4x daily.Paracetamol same dosage.

Recurrent tonsillitis is diagnosed when an individual has 7 episodes in 1 year, 5 infections in 2 consecutive years, or 3 infections each year for 3 years consecutively.

If You have a chronic tonsillitis...most doctors will suggest tonsillectomy(removal of tonsils).

Based from your question...you only gave me the diagnosis already...one month of tonsillitis? Is it persistent or will go away then come back again? Did your doctor gave you some antibiotics already? Did you follow the prescription? Most Filipinos will take the medicine after few days and then stopped. This is a major no no especially if your taking antibiotics.

Oo nga naman. Wag ka padalus-dalos pare. Kahit may mga nagsuggest ng meds sa yo, mas maganda pa rin ang magpatingin ka. OK lang kumuha ng second opinion sa ibang doctor. Hindi ibig sabihin ganun din magiging findings nila. Ingat po sa pag-self medicate at baka lumala pa at maging resistant sa antibiotic ang tonsils mo. Pero kapag tonsilitis usually may iba pang problem iyan na hindi napapansin. May iba ka pa bang sintomas pare?

bro dis may sound funny and out-of-date...pero subukan mo na rin ala naman cguro mwawala and im sure di ka naman mangingitim dahil dito...

kaya nigawa ko pumunta pa ako sa dalawang doktor, ayun nasolusyunan nung huli...

baka naman puro inom ka ng malamig? ako kasi lagi din ganyan, masakit yung throat ko lagi, pero alam kong oks lang dahil kasi lagi rin ako umiinom ng malamig...

tama si mang caducues... tonsilectomy na lang!
