Need help on my connection to Smartbro

Pag naglalaro kasi ako ng online games laging nadidisconect, "cable is unplugged" ang laging nakadisplay dun sa Lan indicator ko sa system tray, lagi nalang akong tumawag sa tech support, puro ganun naman sinasabi sakin, hindi man lang sabihin kung sa POE (Power Over Ethernet) ko yun,

bro i think nasa smart na ang problema... dati din kse akong smartbro at di talaga ako satisfied sa service nila kaya nag dsl na lang ako... mahirap pag malayo ka sa mga ap nila...

Sir ganun nalang kasi lagi sinasabi nila eh, halos binabara ko ng yung mga tech support nila, alam ko na kako yung ipapagawa nyo sa akin, ping, traceroute, IP add, etc etc... gusto ko nga sanang magDSL kaso yung PLDT required nila may phone, dagdag din sa budget eh :-\

ako smart bro din ako bakit walang problema sa akin bro! check mo yung cable wire baka naman na unflugged lang. check mo rin ang connection ng firewall mo.

Sir CyberJoe wala talaga akong ginagalaw sa cable nya, hindi ko alam kung nagkoconflict sya sa ibang IRQ, as of now ganun talaga sya sa online games,

bro ganito gawin mo:
punta ka sa Canopy homepage 169.254.1.1
tapos click mo un AP Eval Data
click mo un "Rescan AP's" button sa baba, ulit-ulitin mo, pag aralan mo bro
                 See the lines: RSSI: it is the measure of relative signal strenght.
                                    Jitter: it is the measure of signal quality.
                                    Color Code: XXX (numeric value to).
         * the lower the Jitter value + the higher the RSSI value ang tamang setup bro.
            tandaan mo kung ano un "color Code" value nya.
click mo un Configuration under menu tapos input mo un "new" color code value dun sa numeric box. click the "reboot" button sa baba, wait for until ung notification mo sa baba sa system tray "connected". tapos test mo un speed mo tol dun sa canopy homepage by clicking the Expanded Stats tapos click mo un  Link Test then Start Test button. Sa ngayon I have Download Efficiency of 90% and Uplink Efficiency 95%. Mas mataas mas maganda.

Sir have you check your network card? What games are you playing.  I suggest you run a HijackThis and post the result here so that we could qualify your problem.

Tol im a new smart bro subscriber, i tried checking dun sa site ng canopy ung mga instructions na sinabi mo, pero parang naiba na ata ung mga caps nung site nila, the only thing i see sa instructions mo is ung RSSI ko ; (1464 at the moment) Jitter ; ( 1 ) ung color code valure d ko na cya makita. kya d ko alam what to remember to put sa configuration and kung anu ppalitan dun,baka kasi magkamali masira pa connection. Pati ung Expanded stats dko makita ung menu nun... Ive been using smartbro for a about 3 weeks na nung una ok cya mabilis, pero kpg kinokompare ko sa shop ng barkada ko which is just a block away from my house ay mas mabilis pa connection nya,6 pc's p un ako isa lng sa bahay and medyo mataas ung reciever ko kya medyo ngtataka ako. kaya i wanted to try your suggestion too.. If kindly hindi nmn abala sayu pwde ba mglgay ng Screen shot? pki erase nalng un mga info na mkkharm sa connection mo.. Maraming salamat!

tol, smartbro din gamit ko, mabagal din sya. mahinang klase ung "canop"y na antenna, line of sight lang dapat sya sa tower, mas maganda daw ung "meridian"(reciever to ng Wi-Fi na smartBro na ngayon) antenna. mas malakas daw ang pick up. meron ako d2 meridian na antenna pero dko alam iconfigure, dko kasi alam IP address nya. bro, kontakin mo ung technician na nag install ng smart bro mo, papalitan mo ng "meridian" na antenna kung pede. kasi parang nasa bodega nalang nila un "meridian" at pinupuslit ng mga technician. kung sino sana nakakaalam pano iconfigure ung meridian e pakiPM nalang ako.tnx sayasaya::

meridian telekoms ang "contractor" para sa setup ng smartbro. canopy pa rin un gamit nila which is manufactured by motorola.

Hi! ako smart bro din,dati hindi maganda connection ko,pero ngayon ok na...lam mo problema nyan kaya mabagal connection nyo,dahil yan sa nag kabit ng antenna nyo,yung mga contructor nila alam lang nun itayo ang antenna at ipihit pihit,pag wala sila nakita na signal sabihin malayo kayo sa site...kung tatawag naman kayo sa tech suport nila sasakit lang lalo ulo nyo,,,mas maganda pag aralan niyo mabuti yan canopy niyo at pag tygaan niyo mamasyal sa bubong niyo kung gusto niyo mka kuha ng magandang connection,,,tapos yung mga sinasabi ng mga contructor nila na masisira yung canopy niyo pag pinakielaman niyo,,,hindi totoo yun...para lang router yan....kaya niyo yan...wag niyo na sayangin oras niyo kaka tawag sa tech support nila wala din m tutulong yun,,,mas maganda pang kayo na gumawa,,,m tututo pa kayo...

@Sir Tamers palagay ko nga sa LAN Card ko, Im using OnBoard Gigabit LAN, inuninstall ko muna tapos bagong driver, ayun nalessen yung disconnection, pero may times pa rin na nadidisconect, bibili nalang ako ng seperate LAN card for connection, Salamat mga Sirs  ;D ;D ;D rating10::

@Sir mamu, ndi gumagana yung canopy homepage sa akin, Ty na rin sir ;D

@Sir sirrion666 ganyan po talaga tech support ng smart, tambak na nga service request no. ko para sa kanile eh, hehehe immune na ako dyan, out of 30+ na reports, so far wala pa naman lumulutas ;D

ganun din saken natuklasan ko dun sa may local area connection nyo yun naka display sa baba sa right side pag naka harap ka sa monitor mo yun 2 monitor right click mo tapos status tapos support tapos repair. ganun lang yun akin pag matagal mag load ang page.... kong naka tlong ako sa mga smart bro. user poke point naman dyan he..... he... wala pa kc ako nun kahit isa lang laffman::

                once u re-formatted your PC, installed any OS and set the correct configuration
                for networks, and internet connection, makakaconnect ka na agad bro. wag ka
                lang magpapalit ng LAN Card kze registered na ang MAC Address na yan dun sa initial
                setup ng SmartBro.

@smartbro users here who are experiencing slow connections and disconnections:
                believed me, its in the configuration of the canopy. kailangan ma-access nyo lang un
                exact address nun canopy config homepage, sken kze 169.254.1.1.
                ask tech support for it.
