gud day all!! :)

mga tol...pwede pa help..about networking??!!

anu mga accesories or gamit pagbuo ng network/??? i mean mga materials dapat bilhin

tapos anu ang mga first step na gawin tapos haggang sa matapos ang pag network!!

or link about neworking at assembling pc!!

need help po mga veterans dyan!!

mukhang magtatayo ka ng pc shop ah,

kung gagamit ka ng server o yung pc na panggagalingan ng lahat ng internet connection, e switch lang ang kelangan mo , utp cables at mga rj45 na kinakabit sa magkabilang dulo ng utp cable ,

kung di ka naman gagamit ng server ay bumili ka ng router at switch kasama na rin ang utp cables(sukatin, mula sa bawat pc hanggang sa switch) at mga rj45 (numbers of pc x 2), kung saan tatayong internet server ang iyong router na kokonekta sa isp mo at ikakalat naman ito ng switch sa lahat ng pc ,

tatak ng router at switch?: dlink o kaya linksys, magkaiba nga lang ng presyo, may iba pa ring tatak pero yung dalawang nabanggit medyo subok na

tapos configure na lang ang router para kumonekta sa isp mo, tapos ayun na, may internet ka na , may konting bubutingtingin nalang sa network connection mo para ma enable ang file sharing , mga lan games etc.

sa mga configuration sa router at sa mga file sharing, sigurado ako alam yan ng mga nagkakabit ng dsl, kaya kung naguguluhan ka, sa kanila mo ipagawa, libre lang yun, trabaho nila yun e , hehe, pero yung pagnenetwork tulad ng paglalatag ng kable e ibang bayad na yun  :)

i suggest you just get someone who is knowledgeable about it since hindi ganun kadali mag setup ng network, especially yung wiring (for example magkaiba ang pagcrimp pag swtich ang gamit mo compared to using routers). baka magkamali ka, mas malaki pa mangyaring problema

pero pag alam mo yung wiring, d ka na mahirapan

first thing you should decide on is yung setup ng network. do you want a server pc to control access to the other pcs (i.e. cafe setup), or its just simply getting other pcs to have internet access

if its the latter, you just need a router. It can support up to four pc's (you will need a switch hub for more than four pc's). direct cable lang ang pagcrimp nito so hindi problema to. madali lang pag dadaan sa router

if its the former, eto medyo tricky. you need a server pc with two lan ports. first lan for access to the dsl modem, second lan to connect to switch hub.

you then have to set the server pc for internet sharing (setup will depend on the OS you use). connect other pc to the switch hub (iba na pag crimp on the switch hub end). test if other pc can access internet. pag ok na, install third party application to monitor usage and control the bandwidth from other pcs (so you can simply press a button to terminate internet access of client pcs)

mga bossing...eto naman p0 problema ko..naka connect ako ngay0n sa SMARTBro, at first isa lang ang PC ko, after a month bumili ng PC ang utol ko, so kelangan nya ng I-connection, bumili ako ng LAN card so he can Internet using my computer as a server, medyo ok naman daloy ng connection, the problem is pag off ko na PC ko d rin cya maka internet, so bumili kami ng "CNET internet sharing hub" and set up kaagad namin, everytime po na mag ko-connect ako cya naman po ay ma disconnect and vice-versa, ganun po ba ang smart? One PC/connection? gumawa po ako iba user account for his connection ganun pa rin po kinalalabasan... I need help po talaga nito. TY

no hindi sa smart bro yan. smart bro even has a package na internet cafe. one smart bro connection is used in several computers

nasa settings ng hub nyo yan. sana router nalang binili nyo para yung router na bahala magallocate ng bandwidth on both computers as per needed. im guessing yung hub na binili nyo is ang setting is only one pc can have connection

kng sabay kami connect sa Hub...lalabas yung smartbro portal webpage, input m0 dun yung account and password mo, kung sino man yung last na maglolog-in cya yung magkakaroon ng internet, yng unang maglolog-in cya naman yung mapuputol...paano kaya to? :(

ganito bro: good for 2 PC's

simply lang ginawa ko, cross-over configuration lang ng UTP cable ginawa ko, meron konti network config then share ko internet connection ko..OK na. NO to those expensive hubs and switches.

1. see the attached image for cross-over cable configuration. (kayang-kaya natin gawin to mga ka-espiya) pwede rin pa-terminate mo na lang dun sa pagbibilhan mo ng utp cable and rj-45 (with extra fee?)   eto un gagamitin mo papunta dun sa another PC.

2. u need 2 lan cards for for your PC. 1 for the smartbro and 1 for the LAN.
    a. open mo un network connection mo then rename mo un SMARTBRO connection to     
        "internet". (I assumed na sa pc mo nakakabit un Smartbro)
    b. un isa mo network connection rename mo to "home" tapos kailangan ang IP address       
        nya is 192.168.0.1 tapos un sa another pc is 192.168.0.2. test mo un connection
        mo by: "ping 192.168.0.2" at the command prompt. pag may reply...ok na un
        "home" network mo.
    c. at the system tray mo, right click mo un "home network" tapos select "Change
        Windows Firewall Settings". Turn-off the firewall.
    d. Open mo un "internet" connection mo then properties then Advanced tab then
        at the "internet connection sharing" check the "Allow other network users to 
        connect to this internet connection then OK.
    e. punta ka dun sa another PC with an IP address of 192.168.0.2, open mo un
        connection, properties then select mo un "TCP/IP" then properties nya tapos sa
        preffered DNS server put 192.168.0.1. click mo un "advanced" button then
        sa "Gateway" put 192.168.0.1. then OK.
    f.  Open ka ng Internet Explorer to test kung may internet ka na. 
        kapag wala pa rin, adjust mo un settings ng another firewall program ie.     
        ZoneAlarm, Kerio to name a few(kung meron iba
        naka-install) dun sa PC mo.

Bro ganito ang problema jan... Ang smartbro kse tinitignan nya ang mac address ng device kung san sya kinabit... kaya pag iba na ang na detect nya na mac address na nakakabit sa kanya e nagreredirect sya sa portal... ang solusyon dyan is clone mo yung mac address ng isang pc para pareho na ang mac address nila...

Importante sa network may router talaga like lynksys router or d-link router pero mas gusto pa
ko pa yung d-link router at ang gaganda e.server yung intel celeron hindi kasi ito madaling uminit
kahit isa pang taon na hindi ito ma.off...

para madali eh maghanap ka ng magandang ISP para sila na ang mag provide ng IP address ng mga PC. Kailangan mo rin ng mga Cable para ma connect ang mga PC, kailang rin ng switch kasi duon mo i plug lahat ng cable. pwede rin PC to PC kung kokonti lang pero mas ok kung may switch. Kailangan mo rin ng server, pwede rin naman walang server pero mas ok kung meron para ma monitor mo yung mga workstation sa network. Kailangan rin ng Network Monitoring Tools para ma monitor mo kung may problema ba sa network, marami namang open source network na ma DL mo sa web.
