curse and sorcerers are true this is used usually by people who are less in faith. They are powers from driven spirits. I do believe that if you have a strong faith it will not directly affect you much more if you didn't done something wrong.
either you have less faith, you will not opt for curse and sorcery. The mere fact that either you have less faith you still have faith. Faith is believing to something that is invisible to the naked eye and the reason or you categorized yourself, that you are existing because you are faith. Faith, as we know is always on the good side because we have faith to the ONE.
Like karma, there is also a good (sumpa kong iibgin ka) and the opposite sumpa, ( sumpa kong di ka magkakaanak magmula ngaun)
since it really exists and may happen to anyone , It will strike even you have a strong show of faith or lesser of it.
