eto ang solution to go over some restrictions, like yung sa rapidshare, megaupload
there are some benefits to using these:
example, in my case, i had just downloaded two files from megaupload (download slots full sya sa pinas). i used a proxy server from the US and i was able to get very very fast download speeds. an average of 40kbps, which is way way faster than my average download speed on my regular IP add
also, i made a test post here and the IP add reported also pointed to the proxy server not my standard static IP
however, may negative din. since these are public proxy servers, it could mean that many people are using that same IP simultaneously, most of which are hackers. they use thse proxy IP's to launch DDos attacks against some websites. so pag eto ang gamit mong IP add, you may not be able to enter some websites that had detected an attack from the IP add you are using
