Mga Sir, i am planning a motorcycle parts business. Need ko lang po sana help nyo if may maisuggest po kayong business name na something unique and attractive.. and baka na rin po may alam pa po kayong mga murang supplier na pwede pagkunan sa manila. name suggestion? I guess, I need to know first yung style ng business? like repair shop rin ba sya? ano ang pinaka-kine-cater mo?

ano specialization mong brand? honda? yamaha?

may name na ba si mechaniko mo? i mean, may pinanghahawakan na name? example Jun. = Jun Works? Jun Customs? pwede rin yan. kung wala namang specific mechanic... ang suggestion ko, Noun and an adjective. Example: Jun + Naughty = Naughty Jun parang ganun.

business connection: mukhang mahirap gumawa ng ties pag wala ka sa manila, specially caloocan. pero ang style kasi sali ka sa groups, hanapin mo yung mga may-ari, like si take as in takeshi (asia pipes), henson hu (mtrt). bali pag may dti sec ka, gagawa ka muna ng tenureship name o tagal sa market, then saka mo sila kontakin. bibigyan ka ng good discount nyan.

chicken pipe as low as 800 kung tama ang tanda ko. nakalimutan ko rin name nung sa mga gulong eh.

pa member ka rin sa inside racing page sa fb. marami kang makikita dun connection. i guess, may idea ka naman sir sa mga sinasabi ko, baka nga mas marami ka pang alam sakin

you can check online via the DTI website to check if what you have in mind is still available for registration ts... isip ka na lang as they mentioned above... para mas unique and meaningful sayo ang name since it's your own business... goodluck...

Thanks pikapika2501...Store at the same time may mekaniko na rin ako, ung pamangkin ko. May prospect na rin akong 2 supplier but isa palang ung nagsend nung mga pricing.

this will not apply to 90% of motorcycle parts businesses. racing parts is only for the higher end. maliit ang market dyan (though yes malaki pera kasi mahal ang mga pyesa but you will not survive on that unless malaki ang revolving fund mo).

accessories on the other hand mabenta, mabilis ibenta kasi maraming may motor gusto ng accessories para pagandahin itsura ng motor nila. BUT accessories are seasonal and non essentials. meaning, uso-uso lang yan. pag lumampas na sa uso, tulog ang stocks mo kasi iba na ang hahanapin. also they are non essential, most of the time bibili lang mga accessories pag may extra pera. pag wala, the priority will always be parts, making sure na tumatakbo pa ang motor.

san mo ba balak magtayo (depending on the area, I might be able to send some salesmen on your area)? some areas sobrang saturated na, dami kasi mga chinese nationals na galing mainland china na pumunta ng pinas at nagtayo ng mga motorcycle accessories business. mostly accessories and the common parts (i.e. chain, sprocket, rims, brake pad, brake shoe, etc). kahit yung mga matagal na sa motorcycle business nahihirapan makipagcompete sa kanila. which is why most of the old stores are shifting away from accessories and concentrating on parts, kasi hindi kaya tapatan yung presyo ng mga chinese (although yes hindi talaga maganda quality nila but mura sila eh, people will still buy).

Wow..Salamat scentofaspen...I actually like the simplicity..But may concerned lang ako sa name as BESTBIKE, hindi kaya isipin naman mga tao im selling the actual motorbikes or bikes...?

Thanks bodieph ill keep that in mind. Actually taga Palawan ako. Marami na rin namang motorshops especially sa city, puerto princesa.. pero uunahin ko na muna sa town ko. since hindi pa ganun karami shop dun.

Well, di naman ako expert sa advertising pero kung gusto mo magkainteres ang tao sa inooffer mo, medyo advantage yung title mo kasi nga people would think na baka nga nagbebenta ka ng MCs, dapat medyo tumatawag ng pansin ang pangalan para nga ma-curious ang tao at icheck ang pwesto mo.

Pag nalaman naman nilang di ka naman nagbebenta wala namang problema doon pero atleast magiging aware sila na may repairshop ka pala and you sell also MCs parts and accessories. They can't totally blame you for choosing that name halimbawa dahil in the first place wala ka naman nilagay na you sell MCs kundi Repairshop and Selling parts only.

Don't worry di naman sasama ang loob ko TS kung di mo mapipili yang name, hehe. Medyo nasa mood lang talaga ako kahapon gumawa kaya it's there. Antay-antay ka pa ng ibang inputs from co-spies baka may dumating na mas sakto sa taste mo. Goodluck!
