Let's get educated about Federalism
« on: January 27, 2016, 10:31:51 am »

BY: Orion Perez

I woke up this morning to see a lot of people spreading the anti-Federalism meme with the faces of many politicians and I was disappointed to see supposedly intelligent people spreading it around.

It is a despicably stupid meme that claims that Federalism will worsen the political dynasties in the Philippines without providing any proof (THERE IS NONE!) and just simply rumor-mongering.

This is one of the things I really hate about "Pinoy Culture." It's so susceptible to rumor-mongering and "chismes." People don't check to verify if something being said/claimed is true. They spread it out anyway.

So here. I just rushed to create a counter-propaganda meme to fight against the idiotic misinformation campaign being waged by the enemies of reform.

That this is just as ridiculous and stupid like the anti "federalism meme". It looks like both are created by ignorant propagandists.

i think both forms has it's good and bad... better make a thorough study first rather than an immediate change which might be counterproductive for all...

how about educating yourself to not choose a leader thats not idiotic and abusive.

People don't check to verify if something being said/claimed is true. They spread it out anyway.

I couldn't agree more.

Development and more jobs outside Manila will happen mainly sa mga maunlad/umuunlad nang regions like Cebu, Pampanga, Davao, etc.

The concept of "pork barrel" comes from the US - a federal government.

Dynasties? I'd agree that it is not directly linked to Federalism, pero asan ang connection ng dynasties sa centralised-unitary system?

Masyado maigsi ung 6 years para mag-transition.

Federalism naman ang US eh and it works well sa kanila why not dito.
