I'm a graduate of BS Information Technology last 2013. Still looking for permanent job. Sadyang di ako pinapalad. Last job ko contractual pa kaya agad endo ako. I really need a job right now. I will not be 22 forever. Salamat :)

as for my advice

1. huwag maging mapili sa trabaho
2. try jobstreet or other jobsearch engine
3. honestly speaking kung dito ka magtatrabaho mas magandang huwag munang umuwi ang mama not worth it
4. mag-aral ka ng Masters Degree atleast dalawa
5. attend trainings and seminars

kase sa kurso mo hobby lang yan ng mga western countries a 12 years old or 15 years old can create programs and website magbabasa lang sila ng libro and yet ikaw kailangan mo pang mag-aral

unless you'll be working on a big company, i agree that don't let your mom come home for now... honestly medyo mababa nadin ang pasahod sa mga IT unless manager or the equivalent ka na...

bachelor degree kase ngayon you can study online or modular na napakadali

sacrifice lang sya ng sabado at maganda sa mga masters ay building  connection commonly yung mga nag-mamasters na pinoy e for compliance ng promotion as manager or supervisor hehehehehe

you don't need to study sa la salle or ateneo kahit na state university e maganda na at mura pa

Believe it or not, mas mahirap humanap ng trabaho pag mas mataas pinagaralan.. over qualification kasi, hindi sila confident na humawak ng employee na overqualified.. sobrang liit ng market for PhD holder - mostly academe at R&D, believe me, I've tried.. T^T (kahit sa states ha, pero kung Business ang MS or PhD, ok lang, but where's the fun in that)

sa IT, BS + certifications, good to go na yan, yung MS for promotions, pero rarely needed. :D

medyo OT pero might help others in making their decisions
base from personal experience very true  ang insight ni bro maniac. Hindi ka hahanapan ng masters and PHD unless your applying for an executive position and have tons of experience backing up your degrees. Ang prefer naman ng employers are MS and Phd holders ng business and management courses. Industry certifications are really the way to go nowadays, you can self study if you have time at mostly modular and flexible ang courses if you want to enroll. Most of the time a certification can be the difference between being a manager/supervisor and a rank and file employee.
