try that technique a little longer, maybe, 2 minutes. if still not working, it should be a hardware problem. that happened to my ASUS laptop too. im using it now as it was fixed. but the repair guy said its it is motherboard. he didnt changed it but somehow was able to fix it.

Try mo ulit to pero naka plug in na. Di naman kasi naka plugin kaya kung low bat yan di yan bubukas.

ano model? yung higher end nila na models dati may problema sa power supply and mobo, nasira yung akin pati yung sa kakilala ko (same model kami), same problem. power supply and motherboard. pero since 2 years ang warranty, covered pa ng warranty and napalitan naman. matagal nga lang (mga 3 months)
