sobrang corrupt ng agency na ito, yun isang fren ko na government employee na may binili sa abroad for official use ng agency nila/take note nakaaddress sa isang government facility declaration , pero hindi agad nailabas sa custom, need pa nila dumaan sa fixer para lang makuha yun product ng mabilis

Present! Hehe! My mom works for the IRS (BIR), we never and didn't intend to get rich out of it, some of her work related trips even came out of her pocket. I always had to spend more bucks on paying for my cedula which she always pesters us about getting every year and declaring the right annual salary whereas you can always just pay 50php to get one. I bet there's only a handful of people who get rich in there, same with customs, and they're mostly those regional directors and/or examiners.

BTT: In my opinion, it's still the basic law enforcement agencies. Or anything that deals with outside contracts/transactions.

there are always some exemptions to the rule... but in general the corruption is present from the top to the bottom... so far, it is still the customs and bir who can get the top spot....

Does the Supreme Court count as a government agency? Because it was my experience that a lot of the employees there who were wearing screaming about upholding judicial independence during Renato Corona's impeachment were actually feasting on the scraps he threw them from his table (so to speak) when he was still Chief Justice. Most of those bottom feeders are still there now and are still "operating" for those who can afford their services.

Supreme Court is one of the 3 branches of the Government. What we are talking about here is the executive branch. Judicial Branch ang supreme court, the other one is the legislative  branch.

I'm suppose I'm just uncommonly disappointed because I expected everyone in the Supreme Court from the justices to the custodians to be above reproach. They were freely tossing around bywords like "judicial independence" and "integrity of the courts" and all that and then it turns out they're not that much better than the other two branches that they were criticizing.
