Is Vice-President Jejomar Binay an acceptable replacement for President Noynoy Aquino in the eyes of the Makabayan Bloc should the latter resign? Because if I'm not much mistaken, that's the line of succession in our government.

yes, as per our constitution, binay is the successor of pinoy in case he resigns... acceptable replacement? that is the million dollar question... for me personally, i don't think so... he needs to clear his name first before ascending to the highest position...

The Makabayans don't seem to think much of the allegations surrounding the vice-president. They've shown remarkably little aggressiveness in demanding that he answer all the accusations leveled against him as opposed to how vocal they've been regarding every issue involving President Aquino. This leads me to wonder: is there something going on behind the scenes between Vice-President Binay and the Makabayan Bloc of which the public is unaware?
