Captain minded JV Ejercito said that he will boycott the hearing today, but the truth is napahiya na sya last time at muling lalabas ang kabobohan nya katapat sila Cayetano, Pimintel & Trillianes. Its obvious na di sya ka level at di sya pang senado. Isa p di sya naniniwala na overpriced yung building. Di kaya may pinagawa rin syang building sa San Juan na overpriced nung mayor sya at baka sya mabweltahan din sya?

Don't be too hasty to dismiss Sen. J.V. Ejercito, Écuyer jpoks. If the Iloilo Convention Center should also fall under the Senate's scrutiny, he said he would take part in the hearings in the interests of truth and fairness.

If Iloilo is indeed overpriced I have no qualms about that, it's Drilons problem if its true & he should be ready to tell the truth! The point here is Binay will be running for the most highest position in the land, so if this guy wins and if he is corrupt to the bone, that will be the nations problem.

Point taken. What I meant to say is that Sen. Ejercito will no doubt be just as harsh as Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano or Sen. Antonio Trillanes when it's his turn to demand Sen. Franklin Drilon's presence at the hearing and when it's his turn to question Sen. Drilon about the Iloilo Convention Center.

I doubt if there will be a hearing about Sen Drilon. That's not going to happen. About dun sa case ni Binay, natatawa lang ako dun sa interview ni Tunying kay Trillanes, tinanong ni Tunying kung bakit hindi sinasampahan nang kaso si vice mayor eh blatantly na inamin nya na kumuha sya nang kickback dun sa building, sagot ni Trillanes eh he became a state witness kaya walang kaso sa kanya. I mean what the "F" word. Hindi ka man lang ba magagalit o mang hihinayang? Parang wala lang. Napapaniwala ako dun ah. I can see same thing pag si Drilon nmn ang nasalang, parang ah okay, may punto nmn pala kaya ganun ang price, next case please.

If Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago puts her weight behind it, I think there will be a hearing and I think Sen. Ejercito and Sen. Nancy Binay will be at the forefront. And I doubt if Sen. Santiago herself will go easy on Sen. Drilon, despite their long acquaintance.

Miriam will definitely bark at Drilon's leg if given the opportunity.  But will that opportunity ever come to Miriam given this administration's reputation for protecting his allies?  I'm sure there will be a wave of cases to be filed to those in position now if the next president is not their ally, hence 2016 is so critical to them.  2016 is so critical too for Former President GMA.  Needless to say money will pour in for the coming election.  I'm already hearing 2.5B (I don't know if it's legit though) for a provincial seat!  That is how coveted a position is.  Especially if you are already planning a project that will bring you back your "investment" a couple of times back!

And VP Binay barks back at his detractors by saying the makati building being around 60k+ per square meter is much cheaper as compared to the Iloilo Convention Center which is like 70k+ per square kilometer.  I wouldn't be surprised though if no investigation over the IloIlo Convention Center happens in this administration's term and this Makati issue going full blast come election time.

Even if its cheaper than Iloilo Convention Center it doesn't mean its not overpriced! He said that it has been audited by COA in the last 5 yrs, so what? Kasama sa imbestigation yung mga COA auditors ng Makati, sabit din sila. Sabi nya world class, its a green building at mahal ang bakal. Bakit iba ngayon iba ang depensa nya? Mas Mura sa ibang building? Ganun na ba sa tingin nya ka bobo ang mga tao? Sa Makati siguro maraming bobo di sa buong Pilipinas! At dapat isunod din dyan si Drilon at ang Iloilo Convention Center!
