Death threat, Please help IT expert

Anyone out there who could track down the identity of this guy? he's been harrassing my friend, sending death threat thru FreeSMS (via Internet) possible po ba malaman ang identity nya?

ito po yung link ng site, my Friends name is Harold and this guy got some balls, made an Istorya  acct just to threaten more my friend. (Account name -KILL HAROLD ASAP) tsaka alam din niya kung saan nakatira yung friend ko, kaya itong kaibigan ko eh takot na lumabas. I have no idea kung bakit niya ito ginagawa..ang sakin lang matulungan ko yung friend ko na ma identify itong taong ito.

if youre the admin of istorya.net then yes its possible to trace him even if he is using some app to mask his IP (i.e. track all ips connected to the account, do some traceroutes, etc etc). but of course kung hindi ikaw ang admin you wont have access to the IP logs

if you ask me, dun nagkamali yung tao when he registered in that site. kung hanggang sms lang siya mahirap siya hanapin, but since he created an account, then yeah it becomes a lot easier to do so since he has an online history. if the IP logs dont return anything conclusive, the email he used can be the next step. he might've masked his IP when he posted at istorya but he might not have done so when he used/uses the email.

Hindi kaya ka etchusan lang yan sir?? Tsaka sabi ng kaibigan mo, sinisave daw niya lahat ng number sa mganakadeal niya e.. kung matapang talaga kaaway ng friend mo, bat d siya lumusob agad? E alam naman niya pala ang bahay ng friend mo e.. isa pa, dami lang talagang matatapang kapag sa text lang .. just an opinion.

You should think of involving the police rather than look for an it expert for such problem.  If if you think it is that serious, then you should seek the help of the authorities.  They have experts there with respect to such issues, however, I don't know how much their level of expertise is.

I, however, don't think such threat is a real one.  Someone who really intends to inflict harm on another, won't advertise such intention, only to spook and scare your friend to be cautious.  Such reaction from your friend will be detrimental to such person if he / she really intends to hurt / harm your friend.

My advice is tell your friend to forget about such problems and show that person that he is not afraid and affected.  The threat, in my opinion, will go on, as long as he gets the "attention" and "reaction" he is so yearning for from your friend.

salamat sa mga opinion nyo...like what I guess..ang makakatulong talaga nito eh yung admin nung Site na yun..kasi kung dito niya ginawa yun..for sure may magpopost na ng FB niya  :D
