Fans in Brazil were told that they could take photos with Avril Lavigne but that they couldn't touch her, or hug her, making for some really awkward photographic opportunities.

Fans paid $400 to stand at arms length awaaaaaay  ::)

A life-size stand-up photo would have been cheaper. And probably more expressive.
