I'm reminded of an episode of the old police/comedy television series Sledge Hammer where the main character warns the villain of the week not to fire a machine gun while he's kneeling near the edge of the police department's roof. The villain says: "Why? Because you're weak?" Then he fires the machine gun...and promptly falls off the roof as his intended targets easily duck his shots. The main character walks over to the edge of the roof, looks down at the street where the villain lay, and replies: "No, because I know that gun has quite a recoil."
