Looks to me that these guys were already in shape, just decided to go offseason and down a few tubs of ice cream prior to doing "freeletics".

So don't believe too much in the hype. It will work no doubt, but probably not the same results as the guy in the video. He also did not share what his diet is while doing this training.

I had to read what Freeletics was and it was actually not much different than what other high intensity workouts are out there (m100s, tabata, etc). I guess It just adopts the "no quit/no rest" mentality from crossfit.

Just dont kill yourself while doing this. The "no rest, no quit, as fast as you can" principle requires a bit of athleticism and conditioning before you can do it.

Bottomline, just be consistent and stick with it. If this is your first attempt at working out, definitely there would be what we call "newb" gains. Like how you get so swole in the first few months then notice gains are harder to come by after that and you feel like you are hitting a plateau.

@andrewsturm : couldnt agree more, un nga lang wala ung diet program nya, pero ok lang naman kasi i go on IF.  ::laffman
so ayun first 4 days grabe magsosore ung mga core parts in which nagououtcome naman. yep same from other methods pero for me I preferred using this para makita ko din ung achievements ko.Thank you Signeur Andrewsturm ill take note of that kaya the workout they have in there is minimixed ko hindi lang palagian isa lang para hindi masanay.

@edcbabe - nope i didnt get the coach one, i took the pro version of this. if youre near makati we can workout together hihihihi, pero newb palang ha. hihih

there are 3 categories Cardio, Strength and Max
Under Cardio there are 13 sub categories
Aphrodite for Legs and Abs;Apollon for legs; Ares for legs, abs and back*you need pull up bar for this; Artemis for full body; Atlas legs and abs + 2Km run *i use threadmill for this; Dione abs; Gaia for legs; Hades for upper body +pull up bar;Helios Full body; Hera Cardio workout 400 mtrs; Iris Cardio workout 1k; Metis Cardio only no equipment ; Uranos Full Body +pull up bar + 2km Run

Under Strength kapag gusto maging ripped you just put Aphrodite; Ares; Artemis; Hades; Helios; then add Hyperion Full body; Kentauros legs, Kronos Full body; Poseidon Upper body; Uranos Full body; Venus legs and abs and chest and Zeus

For Max naman  Burpee Max  HS Pushup Max Jack Knife  Max Jump Max Leg Lever Max Lunge Max Pull Up Max Push Up Max kumbaga ung max is ung ilan ang makakaya mo in a given time.

whew! para akong nag marathon sa kakatype.. ::laffman

That is why you always consider your level of fitness and athleticism before doing some stuff or workouts.

You're absolutely right Sir, during the 2-3 months lumaki katawan ko then later on parang hirap na akong lumaki. Pero the good thing is i'm getting stronger... Paano nga ba malalampasan ang stage na to Sir?

Well you just have to continue what you are doing. Real muscle gains are hard to come by.

Accept the fact that it takes years of training to get the body you want.

ayos to TS... ang akin lng eh, sana masustain ko willpower to continue. Ang aim ko lang naman is to add a few more pounds to my current weight (118lbs @5'4")

Sir AndrewSturm, any advise for gaining weight... I guess mabilis kasi metabolism ko kasi malakas naman ako kumain pero di tumataba. Have undergone checkups na rin before pero wala naman ako alaga sa tiyan and physically fit nman as per APE's before sa pinas. 2 years din ako gym dati to maintain & gain weight pero hanggang 120 lng yta inabot ko, siguro dahil irregular sleeping pattern ko kc I am doing shift work 12hrs/shift 2D/2N duty.

sorry ts kung medyo hini-jack ko post mo pra makahingi advise kay sir AndrewSturm.

TIA  :D

Gawa ka na lang bagong thread bro, para maraming mga ka espiya makapag bigay ng input sayo. I am not an expert on these matters but rather give suggestions based on what I have read and experienced.

People would be surprised when they say na malakas sila kumain but in fact are not eating enough. Plus the stress you put your body into with irregular sleeping patterns.
