What should I tell to the CSR for not hitting my desire speed?
« on: December 18, 2013, 06:02:09 am »
Mga spies, anu ba maganda sabhin para sa CSR ng ISP ko, kasi up to 3mbps ang plan ko pero never ko pa na experience at least 2.8-3mbps lagi na lang sagad sa 2.5+mbps, ang defense kasi nila is yung "up to" na term.  ??? ??? kairita lang paulit ulit sila ng dahilan hahaha.

um ganun talaga yun KAHIT SAANG BANSA, UP TO means the max theoretical speed you can hit is capped at 3mbps, and there is no guarantee, nasa contract/terms and conditions yun , a lot of factors can affect your speed such as Data Traffic, number of users connected to the port youre connected, maintenance/upgrades they may be doing without telling subscribers

di mo rin pwede sabihin na under 1mbps ka or unsable kasi they can PING your modem and see what your actual speed is

dasal na lang ang pagasa mo so always have the optimal speed

ever since naman magkaron ng DSL/Bradband sa pinas upfront nakalagay naman UP TO eh, if you want solid connection mag DSL ka na malapit ka sa Office ng ISP mo where you get service, or just get FIBER OPTIC

Totoo po yata na kahit saang bansa ganun eh. Dito sa company namin (sa oman), 16 Mbps (fiber optic) ang plan. Pero never pa ding nangyari yun. Ang pinakamataas palang na na-experience namin is 14.8 Mbps. So ganun po yata talaga. Pang-attract nalang nila yung UP TO....
