Topic: Martilyo gang incident in SM north

Pardon my ignorance but as between an alleged "martilyo gang" robbery incident resulting to undetermined stolen jewelry (if any) at SM North and the Quirino Grandstand hostage taking incident which led to the tragic deaths of tourists, what is the protocol as regards determination of urgency and priority warranting the President's immediate attention, or, more over, his physical presence on the scene of the crime for that matter?

My meager knowledge in presidential protocol tells me that there's an evident distortion as to the president's treatment of both incidents given the gravity of one against the other.

Then again, maybe the president has a different set of priorities that the subscribes to.

Just thinking aloud.

I agree with them. Hindi ba pwedeng yung SM muna managot lalo na si "President Sy" dahil sa lack of security equipments nila at tinitipid sa pasundot sundot at kapa kapa lang?

Whether he or Sec. Mar Roxas showed up at the crime scene, they'll be blamed anyway. The comments section on the news articles regarding the robbery are proof of that.

Kayo naman nagdedate lang sa trinoma si mar at pinoy iniissue nyo agad. If i put myself in the shoe of those christmas shoppers, i would be very delighted that the president is there, for sure panic mode ang mga police. Pasikat to the left and to the right. But if i am just sitting in my office should i ask what was the president doing there? I think it is not about priority but the neccessity to assure the public that it is safe to shop at sm. More shopping more taxes, more taxes more money. Ow i think i hit the jackpot.

baka kaya nandun si pres is same lang din ng reason nung may sumabog sa the fort na condo, nagkataon malapit sila sa area.
pero same instance lang naman ang ginawa ni pinoy sa case ng hostage crisis sa quirino at martilyo gang , nung tapos na ang crisis saka siya pumunta sa area in both cases.
