Atleast madami paring taga espiya naiintinidhan ang gobyerno..

share ko na din ito..

"Some of the supplies the United Nations have for the victims remain stuck in Manila because of the minimal air assets that can transport the relief aid.

“We are not able to get our resources to Tacloban and other areas. It is a frustration . . . because part of the job I have is to recognize the challenges and overcome those challenges,” she said.
The UN official noted that even Philippine government officials feel the same way.
Amos said there is a shortage of vehicles for waste management, so debris and blocked roads cannot be cleared yet. This makes it doubly challenging for humanitarian and relief aid to reach the affected people.

“I do feel we have let people down because we are not able to get in more quickly,” she lamented.
“Every disaster is different and unique to the country to which it occurs. Given the numberof disasters that have happened in the Philippines just this year, it is all the more difficult for humanitarian and government to cope,” Amos said."

Imagine PENOY declared "State of National Emergency" after 3 days  pa then tsaka lang nagkaroon ng mobilization. That is unacceptable!

Declaration of "State of National Emergency" should have been done just hours after Typhoon Haiyan left (para din sa safety ng mga rescuers).

Now madami nagtatanong, bakit people resorted to looting ng mga gamit na di naman basic goods? ang sagot dyan kasi they resorted to "barter trading".
Kung may nakuha kang payong, jacket o ano man eh pede mo itong ipalit sa kakilala mo ng kakarampot na pagkain at kelangan din naman niya, then why not.

Three days na wala kang kain pati pamilya mo, let see kung di ka mag-scavenge for food & water & eventually it will lead to looting.

What PENOY should have done:
1. Create a CRISIS MANAGEMENT team days before the typhoon hit.
2. People on the CRISIS MANAGEMENT team should have the "right skill set" & not just POSERS like Mar Roxas. Mga taong may alam sa first aid, engineering, infra, relief & rescue operations.
3. Declare "State of National Emergency" 8 hours after Typhoon Haiyan left. The 8 hour window before you declare "State of National Emergency" should be used as initial damage assessment.
4. Troop rotation, padala ka ng batallion of soldiers, to secure & put order agad. Sabi nga ni Romualdez: "wala naman gyera bakit di makapagpadala ng sundalo from other areas." aside from peace & order, the troops deployed can also be used to do first aid, clearing operations sa mga major roads, do inventory ng mga casualties.
5. Mobilization of relief kahit kakarampot lang yan.

Bottomline is: if there was order DAY 01 pa lang after the typhoon, di sana mangyayari yang looting na yan. kaso nauna pa magpadala ng ayuda si Mayor Duterte & PNRC while PENOY was doing assessment for 3 days? Wow Cubao!

PENOY (as always) playing the "BLAME GAME".....sisisihin pa nya ang local govt. T*NGA ba nya! wala na ngang LGU, inaanod na nga yung mga bgy halls & heavily damaged na nga yung mga munisipyo, even the so-called evacuation centers nasira din, ultimong mayor at pulis sa area eh either patay, missing or injured din. This is a case of National level and NOT Local only.

Hanggang ngayon nga wala pa din feeding station sa mga hard hit areas even in Tacloban.

Pacencya na sa comment ko, nakikisimpatya lang ako sa mga taga LEYTE since ako ay tubong LEYTE din & we have been monitoring & helping people in anyway we can almost 24/7.

I am defending the people of Leyte & not the INCOMPETENT President that you NOYTARDS love!

Duterte sent his Davao team on November 11, 2013, Monday.

http://www.rappler.com/move-ph/issues/disasters/typhoon-yolanda/43417-davao-city-aid-leyte

PNRC / Gordon sent his 1st truckload of relief goods that was ambushed on November 10, 2013, Sunday.

http://www.sunstar.com.ph/breaking-news/2013/11/10/truckload-relief-goods-attacked-tanauan-leyte-313042

The C-130 from the military / national government was there on November 9, 2013 with relief goods.

http://www.rappler.com/nation/43285-initial-reports-damage-tacloban-city

Just making sure the facts are presented to the public. Actually this is about defending the people of the national government(AFP/PNP/DND/DSWD/DOH/NDRRMC) that are made to look incompetent and foolish while they continue to help the people in the affected areas.

Feeling sorry for the victims of the typhoon and at the same time cursing/blaming the (national government) people that are helping those victims (since day 1) in the affected areas is just absurd.

Totoo you have the right to shoot people because of self defense or if na-establish mong maigi na yang perimeter na yan ay sau & sila ay tresspassers lang. ika nga "tresspassers will be shot" but it doesnt give you the right to shoot people out of trip trip lang. malinaw yan!

But to brand us people of Tacloban as "mahina & utak kriminal" is way out of line!

madami pala mahihina at utak kriminal sa tacloban

The looting started between Day 02 to Day 04 kasi ubos na yung mga resources nila. what happened during Day 01 & Day 02, did the PENOY made any action? WALA! kaya nagkaroon ng kaguluhan, survival of the fittest na & its natural on us humans. Don't get me wrong, im not justifying the looting. what im saying is if PENOY only had the "sense of urgency" none of this would have happened.

We have to think deeper why there was lawlessness in Leyte & not brand people just like that.

Believe me the people of Leyte are law abiding citizens wag mo lang silang gigipitin. I think kahit saan namang province, ganyan din ang iba.

I think looting started on November 9, 2013. (I could be wrong though.)

http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/video/nation/11/09/13/watch-looting-gaisano-mall-tacloban-city

There were already some military and police in the area during that time but they were positioned at the Tacloban airport.

The police and the military will not shoot the looters, what they are tasked to do is to get there even before the looting starts. Because once the group of looters starts, they will be helpless. As good as Duterte's advice, the AFP and the PNP will not shoot these people specially when there are foreign and local media around.

Not to justify the looting that happened, but again, even in 1st world countries, looting always happens after a huge catastrophe. It does not reflect negatively on the people of Leyte. And some of the looted items were actually confiscated from the people in those areas after the groups disperse.

Feeling sorry for the victims of the typhoon and at the same time cursing/blaming the (national government) people that are helping those victims (since day 1) in the affected areas is just absurd.

As you presented the facts (most likely only from Rappler), here are the facts that I can present from other media teams & people I met that just arrived from relief operations in Samar & Leyte.

1. Relief goods were onsite but was it distributed immediately? People doing the relief operations are saying that the bottle-neck is in the temporary base camps they setup. Infact a PAF pilot already flew & air dropped some reliefs without clearance because there's so much delay in the releasing of relief items. Try watching CNN & Anderson Cooper confirmed this as well.

2. As for Romualdez, alam mo ba kung bakit nya nasabi yun kay PENOY? Its because he has been operating personally some of the heavy equipment to clear the roads for how many days na. Kung sino pa yung mga nasalanta sila pa yung mga nag tratrabaho to clear the roads & account for dead bodies. it was out of sheer desperation & not like PENOY who is just trying to make a clean image after all this. You need to see the difference.

Sa kasambahay naman namin from Roxas they have the same situation.

Unfortunately sabi mo nga: "the people of the national government(AFP/PNP/DND/DSWD/DOH/NDRRMC) that are made to look incompetent and foolish"

WHY? because the chief executive is STUPID & IMMATURE. You are naming so many government unit but let me ask you this, who is in-charge of the whole operation? Who coordinates to whom & to where? Is there someone manning the ground operation?

Dont tell me its still PENOY or Mar Roxas? if it is then GOOD LUCK NA LANG SA ATING LAHAT!

Do they have a CRISIS MANAGEMENT TEAM? madami ka ngang sangay ng gobyerno pero gaya sa concierto kung wala naman condutor, iba iba ang tugtog nyan.

Lastly try reading other news articles not only Rappler, much better go to relief operations & makinig sa mga kwento ng mga galing na sa mga probisnyang nasalanta because our local media is so filtered & exaggerated. I would rather trust the international media like BBC & CNN.

Are you disputing the dates/facts because they came from Rappler and Sunstar and not from CNN or BBC? That's odd. BTW, Maria Ressa of Rappler once served as CNN's bureau chief in Manila and Jakarta.

Relief goods were distributed on day 1 at the Tacloban airport. Kulang at mabagal, walang pagtatalo dun pero to misrepresent "news" and tell the public that the national government was not there since day 1 is unfair for the people serving on the ground.

2. Ang punto dun sa sisihan ay it is doing more harm to the relief efforts. I was actually surprised to hear that statement from Romualdez dahil akala ko si PNoy lang yung nanisi. Now they are on the same level on the blame game issue. It does not matter who started it, para silang mga bata, pareho na silang nagsisisihan. Pastilan!

3. The national government is actually doing just that, hindi na lang sa Tacloban nakasentro yung relief efforts nila. Ang problema kasi ang pinapalabas sa ilang mga posts ay totally non existent ang national government which is unfair for the people busting their assess on the ground. Be fair, mabagal sila, makupad sila at kulang yung effort pero merong ginagawa yung national government to send out the relief supplies asap. Don't make it look like the only people on the ground helping the victims are Duterte's team, PNRC/Gordon and Romualdez without any help from the national government personnel on the ground because that is not true.

Wala ring pagtatalo na dapat kumuha sila ng expert to handle the whole situation, dahil wala namang expert sa mga namamahala dun ngayon, kahit si Aquino o si Roxas o si Romualdez ay kulang yung kakayahan pagdating sa relief operations management, they should have asked someone like Governor Joey Salceda to handle the overall operations.

Don't worry, I read reports from foreign news too, you can back read on this thread and see the links I posted, not everything I post is from local news reports(not everything I read is from Rappler). I don't play favorites when reading literature. I read from both sides of the story. I also get news from my friends and relatives in Samar.

#Edsa4

Im not disputing the date of events, what im telling you is not to rely solely on local media. Ms. Ressa i know is from CNN, i met her personally when she was doing a segment on the introduction of BPO's here in the Philippines some years back in Ayala Makati. Did you know where she went after her stint in CNN? She was the head of News & Current Affairs of ABS CBN but she resigned at the height of hostage-taking fiasco in 2010. She was eventually replaced by Ging Reyes. May pinagkaiba ba ang quality ng balita ng ABiaS CBN during & right after Ressa's term in ABS CBN?

1. You are claiming that the relief goods were already there in Tacloban airport Day 01 pa lang. Question, kelan na-distribute yung relief goods?

2. Does it mean Romualdez has no right to complain: HOY PALITAN NYO NAMAN AKO DITO SA PAG OPERATE NG MGA HEAVY EQUIPMENT? It was out of desperation, he needs to work on other matters pero naka-tengga siya sa isang task kasi yung pinagtatanggol mong presidente eh hindi pa nagpapadala ng tulong. Sabi nga ni Romualdez: ok lang mag-operate ako ng heavy equiptment for 2 -3 days pero for 5 days or 1 week di na pede yun. tsaka nya nasabi, wala namang gyera bakit di magpadala ng batallion ng sundalo dito. isip isip, i dont find it naninisi, he was telling PENOY what to do.

3. PENOY has the resources, international help is there, its only a matter of assigning or pointing these troops on where to go.

Its obvious that you are defending our INCOMPETENT President & his dysfunctional team of secretaries. Nadadamay na lang yung mga kawawang sundalo & social workers who unfortunately is under PENOY.

It is unfortunate that you have failed to see the arguments I've been driving at since the beginning and has downright turned it into a political bias issue against me.

The fact that you see a local media report as insufficient and biased is enough sign that this isn't really about the facts of what is happening on the ground since day 1 but something political from your end.

Nakikita mo na kawawa yung mga national government personnel on the ground, yet you fail to see their efforts since day 1. That just doesn't add up.

This tragedy has turned into a political issue for you.

Biases rears its ugly head once again.

Wow sobrang talino mo ser! i salute you! pede kang pumalit kay Valte or kay Coloma!

Actually it is you who failed to see the real picture here.

Heres what you are driving at:
1. i need to acknowledge the efforts & sacrifices of our dear soliders, police, social workers and the like who are working so hard at ground zero, right?. dyan pede ako sumangayon!
2.   i need to acknowledge the president & politicans like PENOY & Mar Roxas as well? HELL NO! T@nga lang ang makapagsasabi na they are doing a good job!
....people like soldiers & social workers are put into bad light because the very leaders handling them are not utilizing them properly. as i have said leaders of this govt dont have the right skill set to do their job! sacrifices of our dear soldiers & social workers are not magnified or seen because there is little or no result coming at all. People need results specially on this trying times.
3. our local media is NOT bias?! hahaha! again T@nga lang ang makapagsasabi na na di sila BIAS & TAMA ANG MGA BALITA NILA! ......special mention ABS CBN.
4. Now on your point that i am making this a political issue. Ikaw naman ngayon ang mag back read & try to check other threads here, i never bashed or said something bad to PENOY after the typhoon hit, WHY? because im giving him the benefit of the doubt. i was thinking that maybe this idiot (not you pareng IDIOT.....hehehe) can still do something good, sumablay na siya noong Hostage incident baka he will redeem himself now. But the thing is, the typhoon hit us Nov 8, i started something saying bad about PENOY Nov 13, its been 5 days & wala kasi akong nakikitang konkretong action from the govt. This is out of disgust & desperation already. Maybe if you see your loved ones in the Google People Finder list your twisted views would change.

its was never a political issue in the first place but as days go by i am now convinced that this president is lame & has no balls at all, isama mo pa si Mar Roxas who is a POSER as well.

as for you, i suggest you go to the Phil Army Gym in Fort Bonifacio & start re-packing relief goods tomorrow & I might acknowledge you for that as well.
bawas-bawasan ang pag-co-computer at tumulong tulong naman pag may time!
