Snowden in Moscow, asks Ecuador for asylum
« on: June 24, 2013, 04:58:01 am »

Sunday, June 23, 2013 1:00PM—Russian media has confirmed that Edward Snowden is now in Moscow after leaving his secret Hong Kong hideout. The same sources reported he has a ticket for an Aeroflot flight to Havana, Cuba http://internacional.elpais.com/internacional/2013/06/23/actualidad/1371975159_643533.html

Edward Snowden is reportedly seeking political asylum in Ecuador after arriving to Moscow today. The US has revoked his passport. The former NSA contractor has been on the run since he first revealed details of Verizon's participation in a telecommunications industry program to store information on all telephone calls, and then broke news of the NSA/Silicon Valley PRISM system that watches over the whole Internet.

update:

NSA Leaker Edward Snowden was supposed to be on Aeroflot Flight 180 from Moscow to Havana. He wasn't. But "dozens" of journalists are. It just took off. And there's no booze service on board.
https://mobile.twitter.com/nycjim/status/349111845778501632

Since Snowden's purported arrival in Moscow yesterday, scores of journalists have been staking out Sheremetyevo Airport, hoping to catch the 29-year-old ex-contractor as he left Russia, possibly with an eventual destination in Ecuador, where he's reportedly seeking asylum. When Russian media reported that he'd booked a ticket on Aeroflot Flight 180 to Havana, Cuba, a number of them did the journalistic thing and booked tickets as well.

Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp... familiar isn't it?

Rendition well they're experts of doing it.

Can you call yourself human? When considered you didnt exist anymore?

I just read in der Spiegel, the German magazine that there is a program similar to Prism that both the UK and US do in London.  The surveillance program is called Tempora. They monitor all citizens in the UK.

It was leak by Snowden regarding this nature of PRISM.

It contradicts to Lawful Interception.  Telecommunications carriers are required by law to cooperate in the interception of communications for law enforcement purposes under the terms of Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA) but what really happen without the consent to any telecommunications services/court order or to all individuals you've been monitored blatantly 24/7.

Another example of ridiculous US fascist authorities:

How do you propose they treat terrorist at papaano nila ito huhulihin without sorting to those tactics.

Americans ?the Victims?

Foreign Policy? sounds familiar.

Walang nakakaalam either he's a spy/ double agent/james bond.

CHINA/RUSSIA/USA parehas lng yan mga champions in creating fear to society, at bakit?  To control everyone.

surveillance program nakakatuwa naman ang CIA or MI6

ginagawang scapegoat si Snowden para maalis sa isip ng tao na nasa-surveillance na sila oras na gumamit sila ng facebook at twitter or just to point to their citizens na naka surveillance sila na where in fact hindi naman pero naka-surveillance sila na hindi

as i post it earlier

word of the lourd wrong to privacy at yung psychic facebook

hahahaha naniniwala ka pala sa terror attacks

how come di napigilan yung boston bombing kung gumagana na nga yung sinasabi ni Snowden therefore kung na -execute na yung system na yan or program or procedure na yan bakit nangyari yung boston bombing or US shooting incident

if Snowden telling the truth therefore boston bombing will not occur but it occurs and they need to find a scapegoat to mask their stupidity and it seems CIA makes a show dahil alam nila yung ruta ni showden and using his name in his flights it doesn't make sense

now his expose abuot privacy was used now against him facebook twitter mobil data and many more  or just a show to feast by the journalist

One of those people is Wikileaks founder Julian Assange. Snowden is "safe and healthy" and his "spirits are high," Assange told reporters begging for any scrap of information on a conference call this morning.

Can Prism read your thoughts?

Gawa tayo ng hypothetical scenario.

If your an idiot terrorist and you will use internet to plan your attack, mag ee mail ka or txt sa mga kapwa terorista mo kung tuloy ang plano nyo.O kaya mag fb ka at mag tweet ng iyong galit sa amerika.

if your a smart terrorist.Hindi mo gagawin ang mga iyan. You will do the opposite..mag ala osama ka. laffman::

idiot, ilang milyon tao ang covered ng NSA?kaya ba nila mamonitor lahat ng tao?CAn it read all their thoughts?

example pa.

Assuming nasa US ka ha. laffman::

Ika nga nila, the pen is mightier than the sword.

Where's Snowden? Russia Rebukes U.S.: We Don't Have Him!

"We are in no way involved with either Mr. Snowden," Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Tuesday. "He has not crossed the Russian border." Wait... what? Didn't he land in Russia on Sunday? How is that possible?

PRISM like information gathering program isn't always the answer puede magkakaroon ng lapses depends on the level of urgency in terror activities of tag individuals.

Snowden wants to know if He's hurt you...
« Reply #24 on: May 29, 2014, 06:47:42 am »
The much anticipated interview between Brian Williams and Edward Snowden aired on Wednesday night. It's interesting. It's also revealing in a nuanced way, bringing flashbacks to 9/11 and vignettes of this past year's worth of NSA revelations. Most of all, though, it's a rare peek into the whistleblower's mind.

At the top of the hour, Snowden answered an important question about the harm that his leaks may or may not have caused. Snowden told Williams that he didn't know of a single instance in which his disclosures hurt an American. "If there is, I'd personally like to know about it," he said. And he's got a point.

He acquired a vast cache of highly sensitive documents that could compromise national security if made public. But he also says that he tried to tell the government about the shady surveillance programs before the leak even happened. "I actually did go through channels, and that's documented," said Snowden. Brian Williams confirmed that Snowden did send at least one email to his superiors, notifying them of his concerns. Snowden's narrative of that process is worth quoting in full:

I raised these complaints, not just officially in writing through email… but to my supervisors, to my colleagues, and many of these individuals were shocked by these programs. And the ones that had [heard of them] went, 'You know these things are really concerning, but if you say something about this, they're going to destroy you.'

...Nevertheless, Snowden still wants to return to the United States. "If I could go any place in the world," he told Williams, "that place would be home."
