Need Help

guys patulong naman ako,
currently ang problema ko eh tong internet connection ko, which is smartbro canopy plan 999
kapag nakaconnect sa router (TPLINK TL-WR340G) ung modem, frequently yung request timed out nya, tried connecting my other desktop (still using the router) and still the same, cant ping kahit google.com man lang.tried using the troubleshooting and came up with "the connection between you access point, router, cable modem and the internet is broken and sa point pa lang na marereset ung canopy ko and im trying to log-in the account. Kapag modem direct connect sa pc ko, maayos connection ko.
and googled some solutions, i tried reseting the winsock. but still no luck. kahit kagabi sa laptop naman connected siya sa wireless(signal is excellent) pero limited connectivity (on and off ang internet access ko) with that yellow exclamation point on my network icon at lower left corner.
ill try using another router (but still old) later.

kailangan mo ayusin ang setup sa router mo. Wala prob sa internet mo, kasi sabi mo pagka nakadirect sa modem/router and PC eh okay naman, middleman is the router. reset to default mo then try to set it up again. baka meron ka lang mali.

Di ko alam kung ano ang smart broadband connection requisites pero kung ano ni set mo sa PC, yun din dapat sa home router. i think naka DHCP lang? or PPOE? or STATIC Ip?

tried hard resetting the router and reconfigured it again, ill try my luck with another router.

sa WAN settings mo yan, ano ba pinili mo na option sa WAN settings mo? and also, baka nagkaconflict sa DHCP address. kung smartbro yan ang config kasi nila kayong lahat ng users sa area niyo ang treatment nila is parang nasa LAN lang kayo so ang IP assigned nasa mga 192.168.something something so baka nag conflict sa range ng DHCP ng router

hindi ko na matandaan basta eto talaga problema sa mga smartbro na yung canopy. mahirap pag ikabit sa router since nagkakaron ng conflict dahil iba ang settings na gamit niya, hindi tulad ng regular DSL

try this, wag mo ikabit sa WAN port ang smart bro, kabit mo lang sa 1-4 na port para mag automanage lang siya, ang labas parang managed switch lang ang router mo.

Ang alam ko indi na pwedeng gumamit ng router sa Smart bro plan 999. Yan yung balita sa fb, dahil daw sa fair usage policy. Ang reason daw is Plan 999 is for 1 pc only.

pero ganun pa man pagka ginamitan mo ng homerouter, should work. kasi naka NAT naman.
