yep, The film’s cast so far includes: Patrick Stewart and James McAvoy as Professor X, Michael Fassbender and Ian McKellan as Magneto, Anna Paquin as Rogue, Ellen Page as Kitty Pryde, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, and Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister from Game of Thrones) in an as-yet unannounced role.

Spider Man is owned by Sony and X Men is being released by 20th Century Fox on May 23rd, so you might be wondering whyyyy one studio is giving another free advertising? According to Variety, it’s because Spider Man director Marc Webb had an ongoing contract with Fox Searchlight to direct another movie after 500 Days Of Summer, and they weren’t super excited to let him dip out of it to make a sequel for the original Spider Man...Negotiations stalled for a bit, and then Fox agreed to let Marc direct Spider Man 2, as long as he gave them some free promo at the end.

So there you have it! It's a complicated bargain between two studios, but it works out great for us, because we get to see a glorious J-Law clip, so no kvetching ,ayt?!

Channing Tatum has finally been granted his wish. Total Film confirmed last night that the Magic Mike star has landed the role of Remy LeBeau (alias Gambit) in an upcoming X-Men movie.


It is Channing, yes, yes. He's a rogue, he's a rascal, just like Remy LeBeau. He can handle the action, as we know, and he's got a real good heart, I know him personally. He'll be great for Gambit, and he's a southerner too, he understands that world, and you know Gambit loves New Orleans.
